Within the framework of the Green Vietnam 2024 project, Tuoi Tre newspaper cooperated with the Vietnam Packaging Recycling Alliance and accompanying units to organize the Green Regeneration contest.
Since the launch of the contest, the organizers have received many entries from readers, sharing many stories, models and good experiences in daily life related to recycled products.
The "Green Regeneration" contest is open to receiving entries from readers
To continue to expand and spread the spirit of environmental protection and sustainable development, the organizing committee decided to extend the deadline for receiving entries until October 15 instead of August 15 as previously announced.
We invite readers to share about actions and products to recycle, reuse, save water, energy... applied in daily life.
Teams and community groups can share practical actions that contribute to cleaning up the living environment as well as help raise awareness among people and the community about environmental protection.
Businesses can also share experiences, circular production processes, green production models, and products made from recycled materials to reduce emissions and be environmentally friendly.
Towards building: green cities, green lifestyles, green tourism, green mobility, green energy, green offices, green consumption... and other fields related to sustainable development.
Evaluation criteria include feasibility, development potential, application in daily life, applicability for individuals and businesses, economic and social efficiency, creativity contributing to environmental protection and sustainable development of the country.
Entries are scored by the contest's professional panel according to criteria along with points voted by readers.
The expert panel's score accounts for 80%, and readers' votes account for 20% of the total score of the entry. The number of votes is calculated based on the interaction with the article, in which 1 star = 15 points, 1 heart = 3 points, 1 like = 2 points.
The competition's expert council includes leading experts and businesses in the fields of environment, circular economy, etc.

Rules of the "Green Regeneration" competition
Contestants are readers at home and abroad (citizens, students, civil servants, experts, engineers, businessmen...) currently living and working in Vietnam.
Entries can be submitted by individuals or groups, and the representative submitting the entry must have the consent of the other members of the group.
Products and ideas introduced and entered into the contest must be produced and developed in Vietnam. Contest entries must be in the form of articles or images, video clips, PowerPoint, graphics, etc. (articles must not exceed 1,200 words, photo series must not exceed 15 photos, video clips must not exceed 5 minutes).
Entries can be presented in Vietnamese or English.
Entries must describe in detail the product, the process from raw materials to design, recycling, product life cycle... as well as the results and evaluation of the practical application of the product or project to life, consumers, and society.
The work has never been published in the media or social networks.
Tuoi Tre Newspaper and its partners have the right to use the entries in publications (if any) and will discuss with the authors if applicable in practice.
The contest organizers reserve the right to reject entries that are inappropriate or violate the rules.

The selected entries published on the Vietnam Xanh page of Tuoi Tre newspaper are works that have passed the preliminary round and received royalties.
