Generali Vietnam: Strengthening internal strength to continue sustainable growth
Generali Vietnam continues to look forward to 2025 with continuous innovation to enhance the capacity of distribution channels, optimize operations, promote technology and commit to sustainable development with the community.
Long-term strategy of an insurance group with nearly 200 years of history
With strong potential and room for development, Vietnam is a strategically important market for Generali Group in Asia. Confirming this, in early 2025, the Italian insurance company invested up to VND 1,000 billion from the Group, raising the total charter capital of Generali Vietnam to more than VND 8,200 billion. This will be a "leverage" for Generali Vietnam to strengthen its financial potential, expand its scale of operations, innovate technology and develop breakthrough products to meet the increasing protection needs of customers in the coming time.
In parallel with the capital increase, on February 17, Mr. Roberto Leonardi, Generali Asia CEO, and the Group's senior management also visited Vietnam and attended the strategic cooperation signing ceremony with PVcomBank.
“Generali is making strong progress and continues to strengthen our commitment to becoming a Lifetime Partner of our Customers in Vietnam - an important market for Generali in Asia,” affirmed Mr. Roberto Leonardi.
In early 2025, Generali Group also announced its 3-year strategy for the 2025-2027 period with continuous innovations to improve the capacity of distribution channels, optimize operating models, promote technology and commit to sustainable development with the community.
A new chapter of growth for Generali Vietnam
In addition to the long-term investment strategy from the group, Generali Vietnam has continuously built a solid foundation with outstanding achievements in recent times.
2024 will witness the Generali “lion footprint” covering Vietnam with more than 100 offices, affirming the widespread presence of the Italian insurance brand across the country.
Recently, the company has signed an exclusive insurance distribution cooperation agreement with PVcomBank. With its strengths and experience in the financial sector, Gerenali Vietnam and PVcomBank will work together to provide comprehensive financial solutions, helping customers to “unlock their future potential and live their life to the fullest” with suitable insurance products according to a standard distribution model.
The cooperation between the two units will be a solid stepping stone to build a sustainable financial and insurance product ecosystem, aiming for diverse development plans in the future.
In addition to expanding its office network, Generali also focuses on developing strategic distribution channels through strengthening partnerships. |
“The recent strategic partnership with PVcomBank will continue to exploit the potential for developing Generali Vietnam's distribution channels, especially applying the most advanced technologies to focus on bringing the best experience to customers,” Mr. Roberto Leonardi emphasized.

In addition, the team of well-trained consultants, focusing on quality and sustainability has always been the pride of Generali in more than 14 years of presence in Vietnam.
