Voters propose early repair of roads serving the expressway project

Continuing the program of meeting voters before the 5th session of the 15th National Assembly, on May 11, delegate Bo Thi Xuan Linh - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province had a meeting with voters of Hai Ninh, Phan Hiep communes and Cho Lau town (Bac Binh). Also attending were Mr. Bui Tan Vinh - Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, delegate of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of departments, branches and local authorities.

This includes a number of important contents such as considering the issuance of a Resolution on Regulations on tuition support levels for the 2022-2023 school year for public preschool, general education and continuing education institutions that have not yet covered regular expenses in the province; regulations on the content and level of expenses for preparation, organization and participation in exams, competitions and competitions in the field of education and training in the province...

At the conference, voters expressed their joy at the results achieved in the province’s socio-economic development in the first months of the year. At the same time, they continued to make recommendations on a number of issues related to transportation, land, education, health insurance, policies for people with meritorious services, etc.

Specifically, voters of Hai Ninh commune commented that during the construction of the Phan Thiet - Vinh Hao expressway, many vehicles carrying heavy materials passed through the roads in the commune, causing serious damage and affecting people's travel. Currently, the expressway has been basically completed, so voters want the construction unit to repair and restore the road to its original condition. In addition, voters requested to soon consider promoting teachers' professional titles to ensure their rights...

Voters in Cho Lau town and Phan Hiep commune suggested that there should be a drainage system on National Highway 1A to limit traffic insecurity; there should be preferential loan policies for groups of people who convert their means of transport according to regulations; it is necessary to plan and build agricultural drying yards; support health insurance for the elderly aged 70 and over; urban planning must leave open and spacious sidewalks. In addition, voters found that there were many inappropriate procedures in land allocation and acceptance and hoped that the National Assembly would need to discuss thoroughly and unify the Land Law in a way that benefits the people...

At the meeting, the questions and recommendations of voters under the authority of local authorities, departments and branches were all answered by leaders of units and agencies. Regarding the repair of traffic routes, the representative of the Department of Transport said that the unit has sent a document advising the Provincial People's Committee to send the Ministry of Transport to supplement the repair costs and return these routes as soon as possible, ensuring normal and safe traffic for the people.

Regarding some policy recommendations, National Assembly delegate Bo Thi Xuan Linh also explained, noted, and summarized them to submit to the central ministries and branches for consideration and response. On this occasion, the National Assembly delegate presented 30 gifts to families in difficult circumstances, each worth 500,000 VND, supported by the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, Binh Thuan branch.
