Announcing the 2024 Dong Ha City Marathon

This afternoon, January 22, the People's Committee of Dong Ha City coordinated with VietRace365 Joint Stock Company and Quang Tri Runners Club to announce the 2024 Dong Ha City Marathon - A breakthrough journey on the land of fire. Dong Ha City Party Secretary Le Quang Chien attended the program.

The 2024 Dong Ha City Marathon is scheduled to open on April 20 and officially compete on April 21 with 3 distances: 5 km, 10 km and 21 km; starting and finishing locations are at the lobby of the Quang Tri Provincial Cultural - Cinema Center and passing through many routes in Dong Ha City. After nearly 2 months of implementation, up to this point, the tournament has attracted nearly 2,000 athletes nationwide to register to participate.

The 2024 Dong Ha City Marathon is of great significance in creating the premise to become an annual traditional activity, thereby promoting the movement of physical training and sports in the city to develop more and more, contributing to promoting the Campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho". At the same time, this is also an opportunity to promote the image of the land and people of Dong Ha - Quang Tri to friends all over the country, contributing to the development of tourism in Quang Tri province in general and Dong Ha city in particular.

On this occasion, the leaders of Dong Ha City and the Organizing Committee announced the 2024 Dong Ha City Marathon; at the same time, provided more information about the competition schedule, competition route, prize structure... to central and local press agencies and delegates; presented flowers to the sponsors of the tournament.
