Thai football president, billionaire Madam Pang unexpectedly returns to Vietnam

It is known that today (April 2), President of the Football Association of Thailand (FAT) Nualphan Lamsam (commonly known as Madam Pang) arrived in Vietnam. The female FAT president is expected to attend the international friendly match between the Vietnam U.17 women's team and the Thailand U.17 women's team.

As the host team, speaking to the media, coach Okiyama Masahiko of the Vietnam U.17 women's team shared: "I would like to deeply share with some Southeast Asian countries, including Thailand, that suffered damage from the recent earthquake. I wish everyone peace. Besides, the match between the Vietnam U.17 women's team and the Thailand U.17 women's team is also an opportunity to strengthen the football relationship between the two countries Thailand and Vietnam."

"I have only been in Vietnam for 1 month. Although I have not been with the team for too long, through training, I initially assess that the players have basic techniques, are serious about their performance and have their own strengths. The match with Thailand U.17 women's team will be an important knowledge base for the young players of the Vietnam U.17 team. Based on the data of this match, the team will analyze and come up with a training plan to prepare for the upcoming Asian U.17 women's qualifying round. Regarding the match with Thailand U.17 women's team, the team aims to win," said coach Okiyama Masahiko.

Female player Hoang Thi Giang of the Vietnam U17 women's team said that the whole team is very excited about the match with the Thailand U17 women's team. The Vietnam U17 women's players are young players who have not had the opportunity to compete with the Thailand U17 women's team before. "The whole team will play their best, with the goal of winning," said player Hoang Thi Giang.
