On March 1, 2025, the Provincial Youth Union hosted the Central Youth Month Launch Ceremony in Ben Luc District, Long An Province. Immediately afterwards, many exciting activities were carried out in the districts of Can Giuoc, Tan Tru, Tan Thanh, Thanh Hoa, Duc Hue and Tan An City, contributing to spreading the spirit of youth action for the community. Practical projects were carried out such as the inauguration of the IT Room for Children, Youth Sports Space, Lighting Up the Countryside, Mural Road, National Flag Road, Youth Tree Row; starting the construction of the Happiness Bridge, rural traffic bridge, Charity House, Friendship House; visiting and giving gifts to Youth Workers at the boarding house; presenting water tanks to support people in preventing and combating drought and salinity, along with many scholarships and meaningful gifts. The total resources to implement the projects are more than 10 billion VND, of which the Central Government supports more than 3.7 billion VND.

Strengthening propaganda and education work
From March 1 to 23, 2025, Youth Union chapters at all levels across the province actively carried out many propaganda activities about the history and glorious traditions of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. There were 450 propaganda activities about history, trips to the source, gratitude, and participation in preserving cultural heritage, attracting more than 19,000 union members and young people to participate. In particular, on the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Union, the whole province organized 333 activities with more than 18,700 union members participating.
In addition, the Youth Union at all levels organized 363 propaganda activities to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party. Forums, seminars, parades, celebrations, art competitions, etc. attracted more than 9,000 union members and young people to participate. In addition, the movement to build a digital map of "red addresses" nationwide and digitize documents and artifacts was also deployed with 25 activities, with a total implementation cost of more than 45 million VND.
Caring for, accompanying and promoting the role of youth
Provincial Youth Union Secretary - Tran Hai Phu said that in the first 3 weeks of Youth Month 2025, Youth Union chapters at all levels across the province have implemented many practical activities, contributing to caring for, accompanying and promoting the vanguard role of young people.
Responding to the emulation movement " Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide by 2025", the Youth Union at all levels mobilized funds to support the construction and repair of 8 houses with the contribution of 220 working days of young people, totaling more than 1.2 billion VND.
Implementing the Action Program of the Central Youth Union to concretize Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, the whole province maintained and newly established 186 volunteer youth teams for "Digital Education for All". These teams play a core role in popularizing digital skills for people through 122 training and support activities with 4,127 participants.
In the first 3 weeks of Youth Month, Youth Union chapters at all levels organized 51 activities to care for and support 1,032 youth in difficult areas, remote areas, and border areas with a total cost of more than 586 million VND. Typical activities were in the districts of Duc Hue, Tan Hung, Vinh Hung and Thanh Hoa. At the same time, 337 youth projects were implemented with a total value of more than 4.4 billion VND.
In addition, the movement to build green, clean and beautiful landscapes continues to be promoted. The whole province has deployed 76 new "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful - Civilized - Safe" routes with the participation of 2,436 union members and youth. In addition, the Youth Union at all levels also implemented 46.5km of rural road lighting projects, repaired 31km of rural roads, built and repaired 5 cultural houses, planted 15,400 trees, built 7 new rural traffic bridges; at the same time, organized 3 science and technology transfer activities for 125 union members and youth. The total value of these activities reached more than 5 billion VND with positive contributions from typical units such as Tan An City, Ben Luc and Can Giuoc districts.
Not only stopping at volunteer activities, the work of supporting young people to start a business and establish a career is also focused. During the month, there were 9 activities to support creative startups for 216 union members and young people; 69 activities to care for 1,056 disadvantaged youth and lonely elderly people, attracting 1,260 union members to participate with a total budget of more than 700 million VND. At the same time, the Youth Union at all levels organized 17 voluntary blood donation campaigns, attracting more than 490 union members and young people to participate, collecting 586 units of blood.
Regarding career counseling and enrollment, 69 activities were organized at secondary schools, high schools and vocational education and continuing education centers, attracting 27,219 union members and youth to participate with a total implementation budget of more than 223 million VND. In addition, there were 65 activities to propagate and disseminate laws and protect children's rights, attracting 11,584 children to participate. In particular, 424 scholarships with a total value of more than 197.4 million VND were awarded to students in difficult circumstances.
In order to create a healthy playground for children, the Youth Union at all levels organized 23 days of the festival "Happy and healthy children - Stepping up to the Youth Union" to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, attracting 10,513 children to participate.
In addition, the work of developing the Party from elite members has also achieved many positive results. During the month, the Youth Union chapters at all levels introduced 152 members to attend Party awareness classes and introduced 13 elite members for the Party to consider and admit. At the same time, 6 classes to foster awareness of the Youth Union and 41 classes to train Youth Union work skills were organized with the participation of 612 grassroots Youth Union cadres.
Mr. Tran Hai Phu shared that the results in Youth Month 2025 not only affirm the enthusiasm and responsibility of Long An youth but also contribute practically to the sustainable development of the locality, spreading good values in the community./.
