According to the 10th grade entrance exam results of Lam Son High School for the Gifted in the 2023-2024 school year, the physics major had the highest admission score.
In the entrance exam for grade 10 of Lam Son High School for the Gifted in 2023-2024, there were 1,562 candidates registered for the exam, the enrollment target was 385 students.
Accordingly, the admission score for the specialized math class is 37.30; chemistry 36.60; biology 38.85 (adjacent score is 38.75 points); computer science exam with IT subject is 35.65 points, math exam with math subject is 37.95 points (adjacent score is 37.80 points); literature 37.95 (adjacent score is 37.85 points); history 36.95 (adjacent score is 36.90); geography 35.15; English 39 points.
Physics alone is the subject with the highest admission score (40.05 points) to enter grade 10 at Lam Son High School for the Gifted in the 2023-2024 school year.
The exam results showed that there were many valedictorians: in math, Le Van Anh Duc scored 44.2 points; in physics, To Gia Khanh scored 44.4 points; in chemistry, Le Duy Tuan Anh scored 42.95 points; in biology, Hoang Trong Duc scored 43.65 points.
The top scorer in the IT exam was Ha Anh Tien with 45.85 points; the top scorer in the math exam was Mai Duc Cuong with 43.90 points; the top scorer in literature was Nguyen Quynh Huong with 43.85 points; the top scorer in history was Ta Mai Phuong with 42.4 points; the top scorer in geography was Tran Xuan Nhi with 43 points; and the top scorer in English was Le Minh Duc with 44.2 points.
The 10th grade entrance exam for Lam Son High School for the Gifted took place from May 26-27. This year, 1,562 candidates registered to take the exam. The examination board arranged 72 examination rooms and mobilized 217 staff and teachers to participate in the exam supervision.
In the 2023-2024 school year, Lam Son High School for the Gifted will enroll 385 students for 11 specialized classes, including: specialized math and English (2 classes for each subject), and specialized classes in physics, chemistry, biology, information technology, literature, history and geography.
As in previous years, candidates will take three general exams (literature, math, and English), and one specialized exam based on their registered wishes. All exams will be in essay format.
The English exam has an additional listening skill; the IT exam is in the form of computer programming. The general exam has a coefficient of 1; the specialized exam has a coefficient of 2.
