10th Grade Admissions in Ho Chi Minh City: Important milestones to note

Parents register their children's 10th grade wishes online

The 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year will be organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training on June 6 and 7 with 3 compulsory subjects: literature, foreign language, math (if candidates register for regular 10th grade) and specialized/integrated subjects (if candidates register for specialized schools/schools with integrated classes).

According to the regulations of the Department of Education and Training, each student can register 3 wishes for regular grade 10, 2 wishes for specialized grade 10 and 3 wishes for integrated grade 10. Secondary schools and homeroom teachers of grade 9 will be responsible for guiding parents and students to register their wishes online at ts10.hcm.edu.vn in the most convenient way.

According to the 10th grade enrollment target for the 2025-2026 school year announced by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training last weekend, 115 public high schools enrolled 70,070 students, reaching 79% of the expected number of students graduating from junior high school (an increase of 14% compared to the previous school year).
