Previously, on April 14, the Food Safety Department (Ministry of Health) sent a document to provinces and cities across the country requesting them to review and provide information related to facilities producing and trading fake milk. Specifically, recently, the Investigation Police Department of the Ministry of Public Security discovered a ring producing, trading and consuming fake milk powder in extremely large quantities in Hanoi and neighboring provinces.

These products are manufactured and traded by 11 companies including: Rance Pharma International Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, Hacofood Group Pharmaceutical Nutrition Joint Stock Company, Group International Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, Big Four Pharma International Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, Long Khang Group International Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, BFF Medical Nutrition Joint Stock Company, Safaco Group International Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, Darifa Group International Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, Win CT International Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, Phuc An Khang Pharmaceutical Nutrition Joint Stock Company, Nasaka Asia Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company.

Accordingly, provinces and cities must review product declarations for the 11 companies on the above list and their branches (if any). If the companies have declared products locally, please provide information on: the number of declared products, the name of each declared product locally; review the issuance of certificates of food safety qualified facilities locally and inspection, examination, post-inspection, and handling of administrative violations from 2021 to present.
