Novaland Chairman's son registered to sell nearly 3 million shares

Mr. Bui Cao Nhat Quan, son of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Novaland, registered to sell a large amount of shares.

On March 17, No Va Real Estate Investment Group Joint Stock Company (Novaland - stock code NVL) announced that Mr. Bui Cao Nhat Quan - son of Mr. Bui Thanh Nhon, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Novaland, registered to sell more than 2.92 million NVL shares for personal reasons.

The above sale transaction will be carried out by order matching or negotiation method, with the expected transaction time from March 21 to April 18. Before the transaction, Mr. Bui Cao Nhat Quan owned more than 78.2 million NVL shares, equivalent to 4.012% of NVL's capital. If the transaction is successful, Mr. Quan's ownership in Novaland will decrease to more than 75.3 million shares, equivalent to 3.86% of the group's charter capital.

At the end of the trading session on March 17, NVL shares were priced at VND11,150/share. It is estimated that at the current price, the number of shares sold by the son of the Chairman of Novaland is about VND32.6 billion. In 2017, Mr. Bui Cao Nhat Quan was Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Deputy General Director of Novaland. In May 2017, Mr. Bui Cao Nhat Quan resigned from all key positions at Novaland Group.

NVL shares have now recovered strongly from the bottom of under VND9,000/share in mid-January. Novaland is expected to hold its 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on April 24. On February 27, Novaland held an online investor meeting. Accordingly, Novaland set a business plan for 2025 with net revenue from real estate handover of VND21,000 billion (up 153% compared to the previous year) and after-tax profit of VND1,400 billion (in 2024, it lost VND4,300 billion). The company is expected to hand over more than 3,000 products, of which NovaWorld Phan Thiet will contribute 31%, Aqua City will contribute 27%, NovaWorld Ho Tram will contribute 19% and projects in Ho Chi Minh City will contribute 23%. The company plans to hand over 12,500 units in 2026 and 6,900 units in 2027. Construction capital will mainly come from additional disbursements from credit institutions and proceeds from sold units...
