Economic life is improved, cultural and spiritual life is improved, that is one of the advantages for traditional cultural values of the people to be preserved, transmitted and promoted.
Especially in recent years, local people in the province have actively contributed to the State to synchronously build a system of cultural institutions, organize cultural, artistic, physical education and sports activities, contributing to building a civilized and progressive cultural environment.
Thousands of billions of VND have been invested by the State in building cultural institutions. In the period of 2021-2025 alone, the province has invested more than 1,104 billion VND in this field. Including more than 237 billion VND from the central budget, nearly 867 billion VND from the local budget to implement 15 projects to build cultural institutions; restore and embellish historical and cultural relics and a number of projects to support management activities, investment in conservation, restoration and promotion of cultural heritage values among the people.
To date, the province has 6 provincial-level cultural and sports institutions; 8 district-level cultural and sports institutions; 152 communes, wards and towns have cultural and sports centers; 2,169 hamlets and residential groups have cultural houses and sports areas.
Along with guiding localities to effectively use cultural institutions, the province also supports more than 200 sets of equipment such as amplifiers, speakers, radios... for cultural houses, sports grounds, and children's playgrounds in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.
In order to meet the cultural enjoyment needs of the majority of people, every year the provincial agencies and functional units actively coordinate to organize art performance programs, typically on holidays, New Year, and anniversaries of the country and the province.
In 2024, the province will select and establish a delegation of artisans to participate in the Then singing and Tinh lute art festival of the Tay and Nung Thai ethnic groups in Hanoi; a delegation of artisans to participate in the Cultural, Sports and Tourism Festival of ethnic groups in the Northeast region in Lang Son province; a delegation to participate in the Folk Cultural Performance Competition of ethnic groups in Quang Ngai province...
In the province, many major activities were organized to serve the people such as the exchange program of typical examples in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in the northern provinces; hosting the National Drama Festival; the Military Television Festival...

Major events are organized in conjunction with diverse and rich cultural activities. Thereby promoting the image of the homeland and people of Thai Nguyen; introducing the economic, cultural and social development potential of the province to domestic and foreign friends and serving the spiritual and cultural enjoyment needs of the people.
Also in 2024, the province will guide and direct localities with festivals (209 festivals) to organize them safely, healthily, economically, and meet people's religious and cultural needs.
In order to preserve, conserve, transmit and effectively promote the quintessence of national culture, cultural models and models associated with preserving traditional cultural identity and developing community tourism have been built. On average, 5 new models are built per year, focusing on restoring rituals; folk song and dance performances have been included in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List.
From the effective organization of model activities, many unique cultural beauties of ethnic minorities have been restored and performed to serve the people.
Along with that, units under the culture, sports and tourism sector organized 116 art performances; 406 film screenings to serve policy beneficiaries and ethnic minorities in especially disadvantaged communes. 5 communal libraries in the new rural development roadmap were supported with 2,600 books.
Cultural institutions at all levels have received investment attention; the quality of the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" and the campaign "Building new rural areas - civilized urban areas" has been improved, creating a combined strength to rapidly change the face of the province's socio-economic life.
Traditional cultural values among the people are preserved, transmitted, conserved and promoted. Cultural, artistic and sports movements spread widely, creating an exciting atmosphere and enriching the cultural and spiritual life of the people; actively contributing to the economic, cultural and social development of the province.
