Organization of citizen identification card issuance at the Provincial Public Administration Service Center

To continue serving citizens with permanent or temporary residence registration and current residence in Thai Nguyen province who need to issue new, change, or reissue citizen identification cards and register for electronic identification accounts, from March 26, 2025, the Provincial Police will organize the collection of applications for citizen identification cards and electronic identification at the Provincial Public Administration Service Center, located at No. 17, Doi Can Street, Trung Vuong Ward (Thai Nguyen City).

Carry out the process of issuing citizen identification cards at the old Thai Nguyen City Police Headquarters, No. 52, Phu Lien Street, Hoang Van Thu Ward (Thai Nguyen City).

Accordingly, the Provincial Public Administration Service Center has facilitated the arrangement and installation of a population data transmission line to serve the issuance of citizen identification cards (CCCD). The Department of Administrative Management of Social Order (Provincial Police) coordinated with relevant professional units to conduct inspections and ensure conditions for information security and safety; and at the same time, temporarily stopped receiving mobile CCCD issuance applications.

CCCD issuance schedule during office hours on weekdays (from Monday to Friday, except holidays and Tet).

According to the announcement of the Provincial Public Administration Service Center, for convenience, people can proactively register administrative procedures related to the issuance and management of CCCD on the National Public Service Portal at: https://dichvucong.gov.vn.

Locations for receiving applications for Citizen Identification Cards are announced by the Provincial Police.

After completing the online application steps, people go to the Provincial Public Administration Service Center to present the receipt of the request for new issuance, exchange, or re-issuance of CCCD or provide the online registration code to the officer receiving the application to carry out the next steps (such as taking fingerprints, taking photos, integrating personal documents) to ensure speed and convenience.

In addition to the above locations, currently, people in the province can carry out procedures for new issuance, exchange, and re-issuance of CCCD at the headquarters of the Provincial Police and the old district-level police (Dai Tu district receives documents at the Department of receiving and returning results of administrative procedures of the district).

In the coming time, after completing the organizational arrangement, the issuance of CCCD will be transferred to the commune-level police.
