MFS shares of Mobifone Technical Services Joint Stock Company increased to the maximum limit in the first session of the week. At the end of the session, there were still nearly 370,000 units of buy orders at the ceiling price.

In the morning trading session of January 13, VN-Index continued to decline to near the 1,220 mark under pressure from banking and real estate stocks when they were almost completely covered in red.
However, in the afternoon session, selling pressure decreased, a series of banking and securities stocks returned to green, pulling the index up.
The entire market had 340 stocks increasing in price, somewhat overwhelming compared to 312 stocks decreasing in price. In particular, the group of banking stocks increased by 0.53%, while the securities group increased by nearly 1.3%.
With the pull of large-cap stocks, VN-Index closed the first session of the week with an increase of more than 5 points, reaching 1,245.65 points.
Today's liquidity was somewhat more positive when recording a total transaction value of more than 13,600 billion VND. On the HoSE floor alone, more than 12,118 billion VND was traded.
The negative point is that foreign investors continued to net sell with a net value of nearly 150 billion VND in the context of the USD index (DXY) increasing sharply to nearly 110 points.
In more detail, each group of stocks with impressive transactions, code MFS of Mobifone Technical Services Joint Stock Company - Mobifone Service stands out with a sudden increase in liquidity.
Specifically, after many down sessions, MFS suddenly increased to the ceiling (+14.9%) to the price range of 42,500 VND/share. Liquidity also increased when the total trading volume jumped to nearly 752,000 units, nearly 8 times the average session in the past year and the highest since listing.
Notably, at the close of the session, MFS still recorded nearly 350,000 units in the buy surplus. This stock "sold out" even though there was no sudden information in the company's business activities.
According to the annual report, MobiFone Service, formerly known as Mobile Information and Network Technical Services Joint Stock Company (MobiTechs), was established in 2008 with the aim of focusing on the strength of capital mobilized from founding shareholders to do business in telecommunications and information technology services.
At the end of 2023, Mobifone Telecommunications Corporation was the largest shareholder, holding 31.26% of MFS's capital.
MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation is under the management of the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises. According to the Government's plan to orient, arrange, and streamline the organizational apparatus, this Committee will end its operations and transfer the rights and responsibilities of representing the State ownership of 19 corporations and general companies to the ministries and branches for management.
In the report to the Government Steering Committee on the plan to reorganize and streamline the apparatus, the Ministry of Home Affairs proposed transferring MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation to the Ministry of Public Security. The Party organization of this Corporation was transferred to be directly under the Central Public Security Party Committee.
