Placing a plaque honoring President Ho Chi Minh in Rio de Janeiro - a place where cultures intersect - will become a meaningful destination, a "red address" for the young generations of the two countries to learn about history, continue and preserve the noble values that he left behind.
Placing a plaque honoring President Ho Chi Minh in Rio de Janeiro - a place where cultures intersect - will become a meaningful destination, a "red address" for the young generations of the two countries to learn about history, continue and preserve the noble values that he left behind; not only to show respect for him, but also to show gratitude for his contributions to the friendship between the two countries, and is a highlight of the good relations between the two countries. Many Brazilian friends close to Vietnam came very early to attend the ceremony to learn about the country, the people of Vietnam and the great President Ho Chi Minh, including Ms. Luciana Santos, President of the Brazilian Communist Party, Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation of Brazil - who has great sympathy for Vietnam. During the ceremony, Mr. Pedro De Oliveira, author of the book “Ho Chi Minh, the life and career of the leader of the Vietnamese people’s liberation” in Portuguese, won the first prize in the Book category of the 8th National Award for Foreign Information, emotionally recounted his feelings and admiration for the great leader of the Vietnamese people. At the end of the plaque-laying ceremony, the Prime Minister and the Vietnamese delegation and Brazilian friends sang the song “As if Uncle Ho were here on the day of great victory”, the two words “Vietnam! Ho Chi Minh!” echoed throughout the neighborhood. With that fine tradition, the two countries continue to write the song of friendship and cooperation of trust, substance and effectiveness between Vietnam and Brazil in the new period, meeting the aspirations and contributing to bringing prosperity and happiness to the people of the two countries.
