Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited and inspected the construction site of the Phu Quy Storm Shelter for Fishing Boats (Phase 2)

At the Phu Quy Fishing Boat Storm Shelter Project (Phase 2), the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development approved the construction investment project in Decision No. 5048/QD-BNN-TCTS dated December 27, 2022, with the goal of completing the construction of the Phu Quy Fishing Boat Storm Shelter, with a mooring scale of 1,000 boats/600CV for fishermen in Binh Thuan province and neighboring provinces to exploit seafood in the South Central Coast, Truong Sa, and DK1 fishing grounds to anchor and take shelter from storms safely; minimize damage to people, property, and fishing vessels; contribute to protecting national sovereignty over seas and islands.

This project has a total investment of nearly 300 billion VND from the central budget supported by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. Mr. Tran Van Hong - Project Commander, said: The project implementation period is 4 years (2023-2026) with the scale including the following items: Dredging of ship anchorage, dredging of ship navigation channel; Bank protection embankment, combined with ship docking wharf; Mooring buoy system, channel signaling buoy; Leveling the ground and essential infrastructure works of the onshore anchorage area. Up to this point, the items have been under construction on schedule.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Doan Anh Dung highly appreciated the investor and the construction unit for overcoming difficulties to implement the project. At the same time, he requested the construction unit to prepare materials, machinery, equipment, and human resources to implement the project so that it can be completed on schedule, as well as ensuring technical quality according to the design.

Visit Phu Quy District Water Supply Complex including Long Hai domestic water supply project and Ngu Phung domestic water supply project

The delegation also visited the Phu Quy District Water Supply Cluster, including the Long Hai domestic water supply project and the Ngu Phung domestic water supply project with a total exploited water volume of more than 420 thousand m3 ^, an average of 1,161.8 m3 ^/ day and night, reaching 73.07% of the permitted exploitation volume. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assessed that this is a meaningful project contributing to solving the problem of supplying domestic water for the people. At the same time, he noted that the Phu Quy District Water Supply Cluster needs to pay attention to ensuring the quality of clean water to serve the people, especially in the approaching dry season.

At the Phu Quy District Military Command, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and commended the positive results that the District Military Command achieved in 2023 and the first 3 months of 2024.
