Supporting 60 new students in the South Central region to go to school

Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province is the 7th awarding point in the 2024 "Supporting School" scholarship program for new students under the "For Tomorrow's Development" program of Tuoi Tre newspaper , Ho Chi Minh City.

During the ceremony in Nha Trang city, the Organizing Committee awarded scholarships to 60 new students with a total value of more than 900 million VND. Each scholarship is worth 15 million VND in cash. In addition, the program also gave 3 laptops to new students with special difficulties.

Pham Ngoc Doan Trang, from Cam Hoa commune, Cam Lam district, Khanh Hoa province, a new student at Nha Trang University, said: “My father passed away early, when I was 7 years old. Since my father passed away, my family has been in a difficult situation. My mother cannot afford to support the cost of my two sisters going to school. With the scholarship of 15 million VND, I will pay for my tuition, and I will send the remaining amount to my mother so that she can support my sister's tuition.”
