The State always focuses on training human resources, especially high-quality human resources, one of the most important factors determining the quality of human life and the rapid, sustainable development of the country, affirming the country's competitiveness and position in the region and the world.
A new school year has begun with many joys and new challenges; the 3-year journey of high school is very important, marking the maturity in all aspects of students.
The National Assembly Chairman hopes that the students will have much joy and motivation in their studies; constantly strive to practice following the example of the great Uncle Ho and the example of Uncle Hai Pham Hung of his hometown Vinh Long.

The National Assembly Chairman hopes that each teacher will "be an example of morality, self-study and creativity"; always be dedicated and responsible for the profession, love and teach students wholeheartedly; "Teachers are like parents", truly be the ones to inspire and motivate students to be passionate about learning, practice their qualities, and explore new horizons of knowledge.
The National Assembly Chairman believes that the staff, teachers and students of the school will carry out well the instructions of General Secretary and President To Lam in his Letter to the Education Sector on the occasion of the new school year. All of them are constantly innovating, improving the quality of teaching and learning, building a school culture rich in the cultural identity of the sacred land and talented people of Long Ho, Vinh Long. From there, they will actively contribute to "improving people's knowledge, training human resources, and nurturing talents", worthy of the school named after Chairman of the Council of Ministers Pham Hung.

According to the report of the school leaders, since its establishment in 1977, with the attention and care of the Party Committee, government and people, the school has overcome many difficulties, united, strived to excel, competed in good teaching, good learning, and achieved many remarkable achievements. Currently, with 40 classes, the total number of students is 1,571 with many functional rooms serving physical education and sports training.
The school has always focused on building a culture of behavior in the school, organizing many movement activities as well as educating life skills for students to build a safe and happy pedagogical environment.
The school has a team of 101 managers, teachers and staff, including 20 provincial-level excellent teachers, 50% of school-level excellent teachers, 3 teachers recognized with the title of "Golden Chalk Teacher", 4 teachers received Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Education and Training. The school was awarded a flag by the People's Committee of Vinh Long province. In 2021, the Department of Education and Training of Vinh Long province recognized the school as meeting national standards level 1.

In the 2023-2024 school year, on the basis of thoroughly understanding the Ministry's guiding viewpoints and the direct guidance of the Department and Long Ho District Party Committee, teachers and students of the School have excellently completed the school year's tasks, achieving the set targets.
As a result of the last school year, the student retention rate reached 99.4%; students with above average academic performance accounted for 94.99%. Of which, excellent students accounted for 23.58%. There were no students with poor academic performance. Students with conduct ratings of good or better accounted for 100%. The results of the high school graduation exam for 5 consecutive years reached 100%. The rate of students entering university and college in 2024 is 64.3%.
In addition, the quality of the spearhead and movement activities were maintained and increased compared to the previous school year with 25 first, second and third prizes in competitions organized by the education sector. This achievement is the result of the solidarity and determination of the school's teaching council and the efforts of all students in studying in the past school year.
At the ceremony, provincial leaders presented gifts to students in difficult circumstances. The Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Tay Do Cement Company donated 400 million VND to the school to support the purchase of teaching equipment.
