Within the framework of his official visit to Bangladesh, on the afternoon of September 21, at the headquarters of the Diplomatic Academy of Bangladesh, Dhaka, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, together with Bangladeshi Foreign Minister Md. Shahriar Alam and Vietnamese Ambassador to Bangladesh Nguyen Manh Cuong, cut the ribbon to inaugurate the photo exhibition marking 50 years of traditional friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Bangladesh.
A high-ranking delegation of the Vietnamese National Assembly and a large number of Bangladeshi delegates attended and visited the photo exhibition.
On February 11, 1973, Vietnam and Bangladesh officially established diplomatic relations. Over the past half century, the traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and Bangladesh has developed in many fields and achieved important achievements.
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, within the framework of the official visit to Bangladesh of the high-ranking delegation of the Vietnamese National Assembly led by National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, Vietnam News Agency organized a photo exhibition on the good traditional friendship and political, economic, social and cultural cooperation between Vietnam and Bangladesh.

The event displayed 20 large-size photos, selected from the photo archive of Vietnam News Agency, introducing some typical and outstanding images of important milestones in the development of relations between Vietnam and Bangladesh; images of the country, people and culture of Vietnam; mutual visits by high-ranking leaders of the two countries that have contributed to promoting increasingly close bilateral relations, opening up new cooperation opportunities, including cooperation between the two National Assemblies.
The exhibition space features a black and white photo of “President Ho Chi Minh, on behalf of the Coalition Government of Resistance, reading the oath at the First Session of the First National Assembly of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam” (Hanoi, March 2, 1946); photos of mutual visits by high-ranking leaders of the two countries.

The exhibition also features photos of the launch of the Bangla translation of the English version of the book “Uncle Ho’s Testament” in Dhaka, Bangladesh; photos introducing the culture, country and people of Vietnam.
