On February 22, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha signed Decision No. 190/QD-TTg approving the Task of establishing a Plan to preserve, restore and renovate the special national relic Tay Phuong Pagoda, Thach That District, Hanoi City.
The subjects of planning research include: cultural heritage values, assets, artifacts associated with relics and the work of conservation management, promotion of relic values associated with tourism development; mountain landscapes, vegetation, animals, landscape, biological, hydrological values... in the relic area; socio-economic factors, population, regional environment, related policies and institutions; current status of technical infrastructure, current status of construction investment, land use situation in the planning area; overall relic system and surrounding areas of the relic...

The planning objective is to specify the contents of the Vietnam Cultural Development Strategy for the 2021-2030 period and related sectoral and field development strategies and plans to ensure consistency with the preservation, restoration and rehabilitation of relics.
According to the plan, this is a special national historical and architectural relic, where national treasures are kept; located in an area with many historical and cultural relics, scenic spots, traditional craft villages, relics, antiquities, national treasures... reflecting the continuity of traditional culture and national history.
This is also the center of cultural and religious activities; the place where traditional festivals are held by the majority of people in Thach That district and neighboring areas; an attractive tourist destination of Hanoi city, the Red River Delta and the whole country.
