Practice to prepare for the 30-4 ceremony

On the morning of March 21, at Military Zone 7 School (District 12, Ho Chi Minh City), 7 blocks with nearly 1,000 soldiers practiced to participate in the parade on the occasion of the upcoming April 30 holiday. Every Tuesday and Friday morning, the forces will practice together to adjust and gain experience.

There are four standing blocks including military band, male coast guard officers, male militia, and female militia. The three walking blocks include male liberation army soldiers, female commando soldiers, and female southern guerrillas.

The practice session was broadcast live to National Training Center No. 4 (Hanoi) for the Parade Subcommittee to observe and comment on the 50th anniversary of national reunification.

The heat could not stop the determination of the female militia.

Spirit of "overcoming the sun and rain"

Under the harsh sunlight of Ho Chi Minh City in recent days, the soldiers' training has become more difficult, however, their spirit and will are higher than ever.

Standing under the sun for more than 3 hours, some female soldiers had to seek help from medical staff. But immediately after being treated, they quickly joined in to catch up with their teammates, their biggest concern was that because of themselves, they would affect the whole team.

As planned, the parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification will take place on the morning of April 30 on Le Duan Street, in front of the Reunification Hall (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City).

On this day, there will be a welcome flyover by the Vietnam Air Force, helicopters will reenact the flag-raising ceremony, and a squadron of Su-30MK2 fighters will drop heat traps in the sky above the city. In addition, there will be a 21-gun salute at Bach Dang wharf.
