Accordingly, the Thu Duc City Primary Admission Steering Committee stipulates that, based on information that has been updated on the education sector's enrollment database system and authenticated with national population data, the enrollment software system will send SMS notifications to the phone of the student's parents providing the profile code and security code.
Parents will access the website https://tuyensinhdaucap.hcm.edu.vn to enter the application code and security code to register for admission. After registering, parents will receive a notification about the time to submit paper documents directly to the school.
Kindergartens are expected to start enrolling students from July 1 and announce results on August 1.
Primary schools will start enrolling students from June 28 and will be divided into two enrollment periods:
Admission round 1 : From June 28 to July 8, results will be announced and applications will be received from July 9 to 16.
Primary schools enroll children who have been assigned from the website https://tuyensinhdaucap.hcm.edu.vn (with full information updated by kindergartens and preschools on the industry database) and whose names are on the list of the Thu Duc City Admissions Steering Committee.
2nd round of admission : From July 19 to 22; results announced on August 1.
Based on schools that have not recruited enough students compared to their quota and capacity, the Primary Admissions Steering Committee decides on the second round of admissions and at the same time stipulates the subjects of registration during this period (registration is still carried out online at the admissions page prescribed by the Department of Education and Training).
After 2 enrollment rounds, schools still lacked enrollment quotas compared to the allocation of Thu Duc City People's Committee, so the schools sent documents proposing additional enrollment quotas and supplementary lists.
In the 2024-2025 school year, the integrated English program will be organized at the following primary schools: An Binh, Nguyen Hien, Giong Ong To, An Khanh, Nguyen Van Troi, Huynh Van Ngoi, Luong The Vinh 1, Binh Trung Dong, Nguyen Thi Tu, Le Van Viet, Phuoc Binh, Dinh Tien Hoang, Nguyen Van Ba, Nguyen Minh Quang, Pham Van Chinh, Tran Thi Buoi, Linh Chieu, Luong The Vinh, Hoang Dieu, Nguyen Van Triet and Binh Quoi.
Primary schools implementing high-quality programs, advanced schools, and international integration will enroll students from June 4 to 27, and announce results no later than June 27.
Specific targets are as follows:
- An Binh Primary School: 5 classes with 175 students.
- Linh Chieu Primary School: 5 classes with 175 students.
- Nguyen Thi Tu Primary School: 4 classes with 140 students.
- Le Van Viet Primary School: 5 classes with 175 students.

Enrolling 6th grade students in 3 schools implementing high-quality programs, advanced schools, international integration schools, schools with more students registering for 6th grade than enrollment quota including Tran Quoc Toan 1 Secondary School, Hoa Lu, Binh Tho.
The three schools above implement a method of reviewing applications combined with a capacity assessment survey.
Mr. Nguyen Thai Vinh Nguyen, Head of the Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City, said that Thu Duc City will organize a survey to recruit 6th grade students to the 3 above schools on the same day with the content of the survey organized by the Department of Education and Training.
Accordingly, the Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City plans to organize the event from June 13 to 15.
Admission criteria of the 3 schools are as follows:
- Tran Quoc Toan Secondary School 1: 9 grade 6 classes with 315 students (including at least 4 integrated English classes).
- Hoa Lu Secondary School: 11 6th grade classes with 385 students (including at least 2 integrated English classes).
- Binh Tho Secondary School: 8 grade 6 classes with 280 students (including at least 3 integrated English classes).
Parents register online on the primary school admissions page at https://tuyensinhdaucap.hcm.edu.vn, expected from May 23 to 26.
The Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City also stipulates that students can only register for the survey at one school (without any other wishes), the survey results of that school will not be used to consider admission to the remaining two schools. If they are not admitted to the surveyed school, students will still be arranged to study in grade 6 at the secondary school according to the regulations of the Primary Admission Plan.
Grade 6 Admissions
Grade 6 enrollment starts from June 28 and is divided into 2 phases:

Enrolling in grade 6 of the Korean language teaching program (second foreign language) at Hoa Lu Secondary School and Binh Tho Secondary School.
Admission to the 6th grade Korean class is conducted among students who have been admitted to the school and tuition fees are agreed with parents to ensure compliance with regulations.
