According to the provisions of Decision 166/QD-BHXH in 2019 of Vietnam Social Security, the monthly pension and insurance benefit payment schedule is from the 2nd to the 25th of the month.
Specifically, payment at the payment point from the 2nd to the 10th of the month is organized for at least 6 hours/day at all payment points; payment will only end before the 10th for points that have paid all beneficiaries according to the list sent by the Social Insurance agency.
Payment at the District Post Office transaction point from the 11th of the month, continue to pay at the post office transaction points until the 25th of the month.
Accordingly, as usual, the October pension and allowance payment schedule for nearly 3.4 million people, including pensioners from compulsory social insurance (public and private sectors) and voluntary social insurance participants, will be applied according to the above regulations.
Previously, due to the impact of storm Yagi, including: Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, Vietnam Post temporarily stopped paying pensions and allowances during the storm's landfall in September.
Afterwards, Vietnam Post announced the complete restoration of postal and parcel delivery services and the payment of pensions and social insurance benefits in cash at locations affected by Typhoon Yagi.
Implementing the policy of the Government and the Prime Minister, the Vietnam Social Security sector has actively communicated and popularized the advantages and benefits of receiving benefits through accounts in the spirit of encouraging participants and beneficiaries to voluntarily participate.
Up to now, in urban areas, about 74% of beneficiaries have received social insurance and unemployment benefits through personal accounts, an increase of about 10% compared to 2023.
