Tractor trailer carrying vegetables on fire on Noi Bai – Lao Cai highway

Specifically, the tractor with license plate 78H-000.XX pulling a trailer with license plate 78R-005.XX driven by Mr. Nguyen Thai L. (born in 1979, residing in Dong Xuan district, Phu Yen province) in the direction of Lao Cai - Hanoi, when reaching Km243+800, Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway, the vehicle suddenly caught fire. Mr. L. quickly escaped outside, shouted and called the authorities to put out the fire.

Authorities extinguished the fire.

Immediately after receiving the news, the fire prevention and fighting force of the Provincial Police, Lao Cai City Police, the management unit of the Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway, and the Road Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 1 (Traffic Police Department, Ministry of Public Security) mobilized forces to the scene to extinguish the fire and regulate traffic. At about 20:20, the fire was brought under control.

Fortunately, the fire did not cause any casualties; the front of the car and part of the trailer were badly burned (photo above).

Authorities are continuing to examine the scene and investigate the cause of the fire.
