Strengthening the provision of foreign information

In order to improve the quality and effectiveness of foreign information activities in the new situation, enhance responsibility, ensure effective coordination between the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (the focal agency) and departments, branches and localities in the province, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requests the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to preside over and coordinate with agencies and units advising the Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to implement state management of foreign information; study and propose to perfect the coordination mechanism between agencies and units in foreign information activities and solutions to improve the effectiveness of the province's foreign information activities.

Strengthening the provision of information to promote the image of Bac Giang province on the provincial foreign affairs information portal.

Timely direct and orient foreign information activities in the province; update and maintain the operation of the Provincial Foreign Information Portal; publicize the focal point and method of receiving information posted on the Provincial Foreign Information Portal. Research and develop programs, projects, proposals, and long-term, medium-term, and annual foreign information activities of the province. Strengthen inspection and supervision of agencies and units; promptly report on the implementation of foreign information work of agencies and units according to programs, projects, proposals, and plans approved and directed by the Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Departments, agencies and units under the Provincial People's Committee; People's Committees of districts, towns and cities; Provincial Electronic Information Portal continue to review and improve the quality of Portal and electronic information page operations of agencies and units, ensuring implementation in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Access to Information 2016, Decree No. 42/2022/ND-CP dated June 24, 2022 of the Government regulating the provision of information and online public services of state agencies in the network environment, Plan No. 69/KH-UBND dated November 6, 2024 of the Provincial People's Committee on external information activities of Bac Giang province in 2025 and implementation plan in the following years.

Strengthen the provision of information to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to promote the image of Bac Giang province on the Foreign Affairs Information Portal according to Decree No. 72/2015/ND-CP dated September 7, 2015 of the Government and Decision No. 24/2018/QD-UBND dated September 5, 2018 of the Provincial People's Committee, focusing on information about Bac Giang province in the fields of economy, culture, society and other information provided by the Provincial People's Committee, agencies, units under the Provincial People's Committee, and District People's Committees according to the functions and tasks assigned by the Provincial People's Committee.

Information promoting the image of the land, people, history, culture, achievements in the fields of economics, politics, culture, society of Bac Giang province to the international community and Vietnamese people at home and abroad. Information on the relationship between Bac Giang province and localities of countries around the world and other information to promote economic, political, cultural, social, defense, and security relations between Bac Giang province and localities of countries, serving the economic development of the country, of the province, promoting international integration of Bac Giang province.

Information on overseas events organized by the Provincial People's Committee, agencies, units and localities in the province to promote the image of the province, strengthen friendship and relations between Bac Giang and other countries and territories; mobilize investment, tourism, trade exchange and expand cooperation.
