Hello border landmark

Milestone 275 was inaugurated on December 26, 2015, built according to the technical design of the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam, 2.2m high from the base; made of granite, weighing 1.2 tons; the foundation is about 2m deep, cast in permanent reinforced concrete. The landmark yard is paved with 4cm thick granite.

The Cambodian delegation attending the ceremony was led by General Nieng Phat, Secretary of State - Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of National Defense of the Royal Cambodian Army, including 5 Generals representing the Army Command, Gendarmerie Command, Border Department, General Department of National Police, General Department of Immigration of the Royal Cambodian Army and the Ministry of Interior of Cambodia.

Other members of the Cambodian delegation attending the ceremony included leaders of Takeo and Kandal provinces, the Military Sub-region, the Public Security Department, the Gendarmerie Command of the two provinces, the 601st Road Border Guard Regiment (Special Military Region), the 1st Border Guard Battalion (Ta Keo Military Sub-region), the 603rd Border Guard Police Battalion (Ta Keo Police Department), and the 605th Border Guard Police Battalion (Kandal Police).

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Chi Vinh chaired the ceremony.

In Vietnam, hundreds of local people attended the border landmark salute ceremony, along with representatives of agencies and units under the Ministry of National Defense, the Border Guard Command, the National Border Committee (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee - People's Committee, commanders and political commissars of the Border Guard of the 9 border provinces of Vietnam - Cambodia. Particularly in An Giang province, representatives of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee - People's Committee, the Fatherland Front, the National Assembly delegation and representatives of departments, branches, District Party Committees - People's Committees of border districts were all present.
