TV bridge: The epic of peace on the occasion of 50 years of national reunification

The program will take place from 8-10 p.m. on April 6, 2025. It will be broadcast live on Vietnam National Defense Television (QPVN), HTV1 - Ho Chi Minh City Television, DRT - Dak Lak Radio and Television, local television channels and digital platforms.

The event was held at 3 locations: the Hanoi Military Radio and Television Center studio; Ho Chi Minh City Reunification Hall and Buon Ma Thuot Victory Monument, Dak Lak province.

The bridges have profound symbolic meanings. Specifically, Hanoi represents the strategic direction and great rear in the resistance war to unify the country. Buon Ma Thuot marks the opening victory, creating a turning point for the great victory of spring 1975. Meanwhile, Reunification Hall, Ho Chi Minh City is a symbol of victory, peace and national unity.

The program was elaborately staged, combining historical reports with special art performances such as chamber music, contemporary dance, live performances, 3D mapping, fireworks... to recreate the 21-year journey (1954 - 1975) of arduous but heroic struggle of the nation.

The program has the participation of many famous artists such as People's Artist Ta Minh Tam, Meritorious Artist Dang Duong, Y Joel Knul, Vo Ha Tram, Do To Hoa... along with major art units inside and outside the army.

This event was organized by the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and People's Committee; Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee; Military Radio and Television Center; Viettel Media Company; Ho Chi Minh City Television Station; Dak Lak Provincial Radio and Television Station, Military Region 5, Military Region 7 and localities.

This event is part of a series of programs to celebrate the 50th anniversary of national reunification. The Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense organized many meaningful activities to pay tribute to previous generations, arouse national pride and encourage the entire people and army to continue promoting the revolutionary tradition of protecting, building and developing the country.
