Creating motivation for Ngu Loc to develop socio-economy

Ngu Loc 2 Primary School's facilities are well invested.

The project to build a 2-storey classroom building with 8 classrooms for Ngu Loc 2 Primary School and auxiliary works with a total investment of nearly 7.5 billion VND from the National Target Program for Sustainable Poverty Reduction for the period 2021-2025 was started at the end of June 2024, and has been implemented by the construction unit with the volume reaching over 90%, striving to complete and hand over the project in early April 2025.

Benefiting from the project, teacher Doan Van Trinh, the school's principal, said: "The project not only helps the school have a spacious, clean campus, ensuring classrooms and seats for nearly 800 students in all 5 grades, but also creates conditions for the school to be recognized as meeting national standards level 1. This is a motivation for teachers and students to continue to compete to teach well, study well, and strive to meet national standards level 2."

From 2022 to present, Ngu Loc commune has deployed and implemented 6 projects such as projects to build infrastructure for education at 3 levels, rural roads and projects to build cultural centers, community houses and storm shelters... with a total implementation cost of over 53.5 billion VND.

Chairman of Ngu Loc Commune People's Committee Nguyen Van Quang said: "Through funding sources from the provincial, district and central budgets, it not only helps the locality complete its infrastructure but also creates motivation for Ngu Loc to develop its socio-economy, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of the people."

From a poor coastal commune, heavily affected by natural disasters and storms, thanks to the attention of the Party and the State, the efforts of the government and people to develop the economy and society, up to now, the income of the people has reached 53 million VND/person/year, the poverty rate has decreased to 2.8%. This is the basis for Hau Loc district to review, evaluate and propose to remove Ngu Loc commune from the list of extremely difficult communes, coastal and island areas according to Decision No. 353/QD-TTg dated March 15, 2022 of the Prime Minister on approving the list of poor districts, extremely difficult communes in coastal and island areas for the period 2021-2025.
