At the meeting, General Director of Carlsberg Vietnam Andrew Khan congratulated Hue city on becoming the 6th centrally-governed city of Vietnam.

Mr. Andrew Khan also shared about the business and production development situation of the company in general and in Hue city in particular.

In more than 30 years of development in Vietnam, Hue city and the Central region have been the cradle of development that the company and the Huda brand have built since the first days of entering the market. In 2024 alone, Carlsberg Vietnam contributed about 30% to the total state budget revenue in Hue.

With the growth momentum and long-term business development strategy in the Vietnamese market, in 2024, Carlsberg Vietnam has implemented the Phu Bai factory expansion project to meet the increasing demand of consumers in the Central market as well as expand to other regions in Vietnam.

The factory expansion project is expected to be completed around mid-2025. The factory expansion will help Carlsberg Vietnam continue to consolidate the company's leading position in the Central region and continue to play a major role in contributing to the state budget of Hue city.

Carlsberg Vietnam also actively participates in the city's cultural and social activities such as being the platinum sponsor for Hue Festival for many years, implementing social activities such as supporting people in difficult circumstances or participating in developing sports activities in the province...

The company wishes to contribute to maintaining and spreading the culture and good traditions of the locality and continue to build a relationship of trust and sustainable cooperation with the government and people of Hue city.

Speaking at the reception, Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong highly appreciated the contributions of Carlsberg Vietnam in recent times, especially in investment activities, economic development and social security in the area.

Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong said that Hue is focusing on developing towards a green, sustainable and modern urban area. The city always welcomes and creates favorable conditions for strategic investors such as Carlsberg to expand production and business, and joins hands with local authorities in community activities.

Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong affirmed that the government will continue to create favorable conditions to support businesses investing in the city. At the same time, he believes that, with the company's support, Hue City will continue to achieve new successes in both economic and social aspects and contribute better to the cause of bringing Vietnam into a new era.
