According to the report of the Department of Education and Training of Vinh Chau Town, at around 2:30 p.m. on September 10, during Mr. Lam Thanh's class, TAT, a student of class 2A3, was joking and talking with his classmates. Although Mr. Thanh reminded him many times, T. did not listen. At that time, Mr. Thanh was holding an electric wire to tie the windproof curtain. Seeing that T. was still joking, he used the electric wire to hit T.'s back.

After the incident, T.'s family posted the information on Facebook. At 7:30 p.m. the same day, school leaders learned of the incident and immediately went to T.'s family to inquire and apologize. At the same time, they called T.'s parents, who were working in Long An province, to apologize and persuade them to remove the post on social media, but the family did not agree.

On September 11, leaders of Vinh Tan 2 Primary School and leaders of Vinh Tan Commune People's Committee continued to visit T.'s family to apologize and ask for the post to be removed, but T.'s family still did not accept.

According to teacher Ly Hong Ngoan, by the morning of September 13, T.'s family sympathized and removed the post on Facebook.

According to Mr. Ly Van Luan, Deputy Head of the Department of Education and Training of Vinh Chau Town, on the morning of September 11, Vinh Tan 2 Primary School established a disciplinary council and invited Mr. Lam Thanh to report to clarify the incident. The council has clearly identified responsibilities and taken disciplinary action against Mr. Lam Thanh according to the level of violation.

Regarding student T., his mental state has stabilized and he returned to school on September 11.
