Forest fire risk warning in 146 areas in many regions across the country

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting (Department of Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting), on March 27 and tomorrow (March 28), heat waves are forecast to appear widely in the provinces from Nghe An to Thua Thien-Hue along with the provinces in the Southeast region with common temperatures above 35 degrees Celsius.

Today, heat waves will cover many areas; in particular, in the provinces from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien-Hue, some places will be over 37 degrees Celsius.

Notably, according to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, due to the effects of hot weather combined with low humidity in the air, there is a risk of forest fires during the day; there is a risk of explosions and fires in residential areas due to increased demand for electricity.

In the above weather conditions, the forest fire warning system of the Department of Forestry and Forestry has issued a level V forest fire risk warning (extremely dangerous level) for 27 forest areas, concentrated in the Southern region.

Forest areas in the level V forest fire risk warning group, concentrated in a number of districts, towns and cities including: Bu Dop, Loc Ninh, Dong Phu districts, Phuoc Long town (Binh Phuoc province); Ben Cau, Duong Minh Chau, Hoa Thanh town (Tay Ninh province); Nhon Trach, Long Thanh, Trang Bom, Bien Hoa city, Long Khanh city (Dong Nai province); An Bien, An Minh, U Minh Thuong, Kien Hai, Kien Luong Huyen, Hon Dat, Rach Gia city (Kien Giang province); Nga Nam, Chau Thanh, Long Phu towns (Soc Trang province); Tran Van Thoi, U Minh, Ngoc Hien, Nam Can, Thoi Binh (Ca Mau province).

The forest fire warning system of the Department of Forestry and Forest Protection also "named" 119 areas subject to level IV forest fire warning, concentrated in the Southern region and the mountainous provinces of the North, including: Bac Me, Bac Quang, Quang Binh, Xin Man, Vi Xuyen, Yen Minh districts (Ha Giang province); Bao Lac, Trung Khanh, Quang Hoa, Ha Quang, Bao Lam, Nguyen Binh (Cao Bang province); Sa Pa town, Muong Khuong, Bao Yen, Van Ban, Bac Ha, Bao Thang, Si Ma Cai, Bat Xat (Lao Cai); Bac Kan city, Cho Don, Cho Moi, Na Ri (Bac Kan); Trang Dinh, Binh Gia, Cao Loc, Bac Son, Huu Lung, Loc Binh, Dinh Lap, Van Quan, Chi Lang, Van Lang districts (Lang Son province).

Along with that are Chiem Hoa, Na Hang, Son Duong, Tuyen Quang city, Ham Yen, Lam Binh, Yen Son (Tuyen Quang province); Luc Yen, Tran Yen districts, Yen Bai city, Mu Cang Chai, Tram Tau, Van Chan (Yen Bai province); Dinh Hoa, Pho Yen town, Dai Tu, Dong Hy, Song Cong city (Thai Nguyen province); Yen The, Viet Yen, Luc Nam, Bac Giang city, Luc Ngan, Son Dong, Lang Giang, Yen Dung (Bac Giang province); Tam Duong, Nam Nhun, Phong Tho, Sin Ho, Tan Uyen, Muong Te (Lai Chau province).

Dien Bien Phu City, Dien Bien Dong, Muong Cha, Muong Nhe, Tua Chua, Dien Bien, Muong Ang, Nam Po (Dien Bien province); Sop Cop, Muong La, Thuan Chau, Song Ma, Van Ho, Phu Yen, Quynh Nhai, Bac Yen (Son La province).

Some areas in the forest fire warning level IV group in the South include: Chau Thanh, Go Dau, Tan Bien, Tan Chau, Trang Bang town, Tay Ninh city (Tay Ninh province); Con Dao, Dat Do, Phu My town, Chau Duc, Xuyen Moc (Ba Ria - Vung Tau province); Tan Hung, Tan An city, Moc Hoa, Duc Hoa, Ben Luc (Long An province); Chau Thanh, Cao Lanh (Dong Thap province).
