Regarding the implementation of social housing construction projects and investment projects in the area, the Department of Construction of Can Tho City said that in the period of 2020-2025, the city implemented 6 social housing projects, totaling 3,591/4,100 units, reaching 87.6% of the target according to Decision No. 338/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister approving the Project "Investing in the construction of at least 1 million social housing apartments for low-income people and industrial park workers in the period of 2021 - 2030".
Of which, 2 projects have been completed and handed over for use, with 287 apartments (Nam Long Hong Phat Social Housing Apartment 187 apartments, An Phu Can Tho Social Housing Apartment 100 apartments).

STK An Binh new urban area project, An Binh ward, Ninh Kieu district, invested by STK Investment Joint Stock Company, allocates 20% of land fund to build social housing with a land area of 9,971 m2, expected to have about 279 apartments.
The An Binh new urban area project, An Binh ward, Ninh Kieu district, invested by Hong Phat Construction Investment Joint Stock Company, has reserved 20% of its land fund to build social housing with a land area of 18,741 m2, expected to have about 521 apartments.
The resettlement area project in Thoi Thuan ward (phase 2), Thot Not district, invested by the People's Committee of Thot Not district, has a land area of about 12,300 m2, with an estimated 343 apartments.
