DNVN - After 6 days of participating in a training course on occupational safety and hygiene for managers in charge of occupational safety and hygiene of enterprises, 95 students were eligible to take the exam.

On October 19, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Can Tho City held a closing ceremony for training on occupational safety and hygiene for managers in charge of occupational safety and hygiene of enterprises in the city in 2024.During the 6 days (October 14-19) of training on occupational safety and hygiene for managers of occupational safety and hygiene of enterprises (group 1) and workers of occupational safety and hygiene (group 2) at Binh Thuy District Political Center, there were still many difficulties in learning conditions. However, with the efforts of lecturers and students, the training class implemented the plan and content as set out and achieved good results.
After the training course, 95 trainees were qualified to take the exam to receive a certificate of occupational safety and hygiene training, of which group 1 had 47 trainees and group 2 had 48 trainees qualified.
There are 95 students qualified to take the exam to receive the certificate.
This is an opportunity for trainees to acquire some practical and important information such as the system of policies and laws on occupational safety and hygiene; occupational safety and hygiene operations including: Organization, management and implementation of regulations on occupational safety and hygiene at the facility; assignment of responsibilities and delegation of authority on occupational safety and hygiene; basic knowledge of dangerous and harmful factors, preventive measures, improvement of working conditions; safety culture in production and business; management of machinery, equipment, supplies and substances with strict requirements on occupational safety and hygiene; first aid for occupational accidents; prevention of occupational diseases for workers; analysis, risk assessment and development of emergency response plans...
The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Can Tho hopes that through this training course, students will be able to apply a lot of acquired knowledge and experience to effectively implement occupational safety and hygiene to ensure the health and life of workers, contributing significantly to the development of production and social life in general and businesses in Can Tho city in particular.
Previously, on October 14, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs held the opening ceremony of this training course in Can Tho City with the participation of 120 trainees.
