On the morning of September 27, the Standing Committee of Can Loc District Party Committee held a meeting to evaluate the situation and results of implementing political tasks and Party building work in the first 9 months of the year, and to listen to a report on the results of site clearance for the North-South Expressway.
With the proactive and flexible leadership, direction, and management, and the efforts of the Party Committee and the People, in the first 9 months of 2023, socio-economic indicators in Can Loc achieved many remarkable results. People's lives are stable; political security and social order and safety are ensured; Party building and organizations in the political system are strengthened.
In the economic field, the 2023 spring crop will be a bumper crop, with the average rice yield in the whole district reaching 62.1 quintals/ha, the highest ever. The district continues to promote the implementation of the land concentration project, forming large-scale production areas; to date, localities have implemented more than 3,300 hectares, reaching 36% of the district's rice production area...
Budget revenue in the area reached 134.2 billion VND, equal to 89.5% of the plan assigned by the District People's Council, budget expenditure basically met the implementation of tasks. Disbursement of public investment capital was promoted.
Standing Deputy Secretary of Can Loc District Party Committee Vo Xuan Linh presented a report on the socio-economic situation in the first 9 months of 2023.
Basic construction investment work is being implemented according to plan. The district has focused on directing construction units to speed up the progress of works and projects in the area; completing documents and procedures to implement projects in 2023.
The site clearance work for the North-South Expressway project has been focused on and directed resolutely. The site clearance has been basically completed and the site has been handed over to the Thang Long Project Management Board, reaching 99.8%.
The program of building new rural areas and civilized urban areas continues to receive attention. Through review, 21/38 sub-criteria have met the criteria of advanced new rural districts.
Chairman of the District People's Committee Dang Tran Phong: The site clearance work for the North-South Expressway project has been focused on and directed with the participation of the entire political system.
Culture and education have many outstanding results; social security and job creation have improved; National Defense and Security are ensured.
There have been many innovations in the work of building the Party and the political system. The work of inspection, supervision, and enforcement of Party discipline; internal affairs, anti-corruption and anti-waste work have been tightened; mass mobilization work and activities of the Fatherland Front and mass organizations have been strengthened.
At the meeting, delegates focused on discussing, analyzing the causes, and proposing a number of solutions to overcome difficulties in order to well perform tasks in the last months of the year and determined to complete the targets set in 2023.

Concluding the meeting, Secretary of the District Party Committee Nghiem Sy Dong highly appreciated the initiative of the entire political system and the People in overcoming difficulties and successfully completing the targets and tasks for the first 9 months of 2023, especially in directing agricultural production, land conversion, and site clearance for the North-South Expressway.
The Secretary of the Can Loc District Party Committee emphasized: In the coming time, departments need to review the implementation of targets and plans to continue to strengthen solutions to complete the set goals in 2023. Strengthen direction, put policies of superiors into practice; tighten discipline and order associated with the responsibility of leaders; grasp public opinion and aspirations of party members to promptly resolve concerns and difficulties, creating consensus in implementing political tasks.
