On November 20, the Hanoi People's Committee announced an emergency situation of landslides on the Right Day dike in Quoc Oai district and issued an order to build urgent works to prevent landslides. |

The location of the landslide on the upstream dike of the Right Day dike is in the range from K8+500 ÷ K8+600, K15+480 ÷ K15+600, K18+000 ÷ K18+150 in the communes of Sai Son, Dong Quang and Tan Hoa, Quoc Oai district. |

| Ms. Nguyen Kim Dung (Quoc Oai district) said: "The landslide on the right bank of the Day dike has made people around very worried when walking on the dike. I hope the authorities will resolve the issue soon so that people can travel safely." |

Faced with the above situation, the City People's Committee assigned the People's Committee of Quoc Oai district to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Irrigation and Natural Disaster Prevention and Control to immediately delineate the area at risk of dike collapse, regularly update and report on the incident situation and progress of incident handling. |

The Hanoi People's Committee also issued an order to build an emergency treatment project to remedy the above situation with an investment cost of about 7 billion VND; construction time is to be completed before May 30, 2025. |
