Emperor Wanli of China abolished many of his ancestors' old policies, promoted maritime trade, increased tax collection, and helped the national treasury to be abundant.
Wanli Emperor (1563-1620) was the 14th emperor of the Ming Dynasty in Chinese history. He reigned for 48 years, the longest of all Ming emperors.
