On the afternoon of August 19, Dr. To Van Phuong, Head of Training Department of Nha Trang University, said that the university will postpone the announcement of admission scores according to the Ministry of Education and Training's virtual filtering adjustment plan.
Universities and colleges training in preschool education will adjust the time to announce benchmark scores according to the new schedule of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Specifically, according to Mr. Phuong, this afternoon the Ministry of Education and Training has just sent a notice to schools about adjusting the virtual screening plan for admission. According to this new plan, the virtual screening process will last 10 times and the last virtual screening will be before 2:00 p.m. on August 22. The Ministry of Education and Training stipulates that before 5:00 p.m. on August 24, universities will enter the admission scores and results into the system to announce the first round of admission results.
"According to this general plan, Nha Trang University plans to postpone the announcement of admission scores to August 22," said Mr. Phuong.
Similarly, Master Cu Xuan Tien, Head of Admissions and Student Affairs Department of the University of Economics and Law (Ho Chi Minh City National University), also said that the announcement of the benchmark scores will be postponed to the afternoon of August 22, right after the last virtual screening session.
This afternoon (August 19), Ho Chi Minh City Banking University also announced that it will adjust the time to announce the benchmark scores to 5:00 p.m. on August 22.
The University of Natural Sciences (Ho Chi Minh City National University) also plans to postpone the date to August 23, instead of August 21 as previously planned.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics also plans to announce on August 22, instead of the afternoon of August 21 as originally planned.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry plans to announce the admission scores on the evening of August 24.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade plans to announce the admission scores at 6 p.m. on August 23, and admission starts at 7 a.m. on September 24. The school will adjust these timelines based on the announcement of adjustments to the general admission and virtual filtering plan of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Many other schools also postponed the announcement of admission scores to August 22, such as: Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance, Hung Vuong University, Ho Chi Minh City...
Ministry of Education and Training adjusts to increase 2 days for virtual screening and admission
Previously, many universities planned to announce the first round of admission scores starting from August 20. This plan was set by the schools based on the general enrollment plan of the Ministry of Education and Training when the 6th virtual screening round ended on the afternoon of August 20.
However, due to the adjustment of the virtual screening schedule by the Ministry of Education and Training, universities are forced to postpone the announcement of the corresponding benchmark scores by 2 days. The earliest candidates can know the benchmark scores for the first round of admission is August 22.
