Burst into the dance of love and romance

On the night of June 10, the entire grandstand of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF 2023) with more than 5,000 seats was filled, tens of thousands of people and tourists poured into the central streets, along the Han River, Da Nang city to witness Canada and France telling love stories with light.

With the theme “Love without borders”, the second competition night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival – DIFF 2023 sponsored by Sun Group and organized by the People's Committee of Da Nang City took visitors through many levels of love emotions, from eye-catching, colorful fireworks displays to interesting art performances from Vietnamese and international artists.

Canada maple leaf country opened the competition night with enchanting and magical light dances in the Da Nang night sky. With the vibrant music of 14 of the best songs in the Canadian music treasure, the performance called “Aurora” created light strips depicting natural phenomena that captivated people. The special effects of the performance were inspired by the romanticism of the distant maple leaf country – where the warm-hearted people come together to sing, party, and dance to welcome the summer.

According to Mr. Alain Bouthillier, director of the Canadian fireworks team, after a long time of people having to stay at home due to Covid-19, coming to Da Nang to meet and exchange has helped the world no longer have boundaries. The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival brings people closer together, connecting the two countries of Canada and Vietnam. The night of light shows that the world no longer has distance.

Meanwhile, the Arteventia team (France) brought to Da Nang a romantic fireworks display. Having won many major awards at fireworks competitions in the US, Poland, Belgium, etc., the Arteventia team brought to DIFF 2023 a special performance with the theme "Colors of Hope", vividly depicting stories of love and hope through the language of skillful light and captivating music. As Mr. Edouard Gregoire, director of the Arteventia team, said: "We hope that the performance not only demonstrates professionalism but also conveys human emotions and touches the hearts of the audience". Indeed, the French team's fireworks display left a deep impression on the audience.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Hoa, a tourist from Zone 7, Kim Long Town, Tam Duong District, Vinh Phuc Province, could not hide his emotions: “I have been to France and was fascinated by the romantic beauty of this country. Today, their fireworks display brought me back to beautiful memories in Paris - the city of light. The fireworks display of the French team was truly magical and inspiring.”

Not only bringing a proud fireworks display, the second night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival is also a music festival with love melodies that are sometimes deep and lyrical, sometimes explosive and passionate.

With the theme “A World Without Distance”, DIFF 2023 is continuing to write stories about a vibrant, youthful, dynamic, modern Da Nang – a “city of Asia’s leading festivals”.

The third competition night of DIFF 2023 will take place on June 17 with the theme "Conquering Dreams" with the participation of two teams Australia and Italy, broadcast live on Da Nang Radio and Television channel DRT.
