On March 3, the Ministry of Construction held a conference to announce decisions of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Construction and the Minister of Construction on organization and personnel work.

The Party Committee of the Ministry of Construction is directly under the Government Party Committee, established on the basis of reorganizing the Party Committee of the Ministry of Construction and the Party Committee of the Ministry of Transport, including 58 affiliated Party organizations with more than 12,000 Party members.

Of which, 37 personnel were appointed to participate in the Party Executive Committee of the Ministry of Construction; 13 personnel were appointed to participate in the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Construction and 5 personnel were appointed to participate in the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Construction...

Mr. Tran Hong Minh, Minister of Construction, was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Construction for the 2020-2025 term.

The Ministry of Construction has 23 organizations, of which 19 organizations assist the Minister in performing state management functions and 4 organizations are public service units serving the state management functions of the Ministry of Construction.

At the conference, the Ministry of Construction announced the decisions of the Minister of Construction to appoint leaders and deputy leaders to the positions of head and deputy head for 146 officials of agencies and units under the Ministry of Construction.

In addition, Minister Tran Hong Minh also awarded early retirement decisions to cadres who voluntarily retired early.

Recognizing the sense of responsibility of the officials who requested early retirement, Minister Tran Hong Minh said that many officials have devoted their entire lives to the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Transport, dedicating all their efforts to the development of the industry.

“The voluntary early retirement demonstrates the high sense of responsibility and sacrifice of the individual for the revolutionary cause of reorganizing the apparatus. This is an example of the spirit of party members for the great cause of the country, creating favorable conditions for agencies and units in reorganizing and restructuring the staff,” said Mr. Minh.

Mr. Minh added that in the process of streamlining the apparatus, Party committees, Party organizations, cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers at agencies and units have reached high consensus and unity with the method of leadership and direction, determinedly pursuing goals, requirements, and principles to ensure compliance with the Party Charter, State laws, and Central direction.

At the same time, the Ministry of Construction has also thoroughly grasped and seriously implemented policies and regimes for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers in accordance with the provisions of Decree No. 178 of the Government on policies and regimes for cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, and armed forces in implementing the organizational arrangement of the political system.
