With his youth, enthusiasm and progressive spirit in work, Nguyen Dac Anh Minh, Ward 5, Dong Ha City, is currently a commentator (BLV) loved by many people in the amateur and mass sports world. From the amateur football fields, up to now, he has grown up, expanding his field of activities as a commentator for many sports to other media services. He also manages a fanpage with thousands of followers, contributing to spreading the image of the mass sports of his home province to all parts of the country...
Go forward with a progressive spirit
On April 21, at the 2024 Dong Ha City Marathon, many people had a good impression of an MC, an animator, who inspired the runners from the starting line to the finish line. With a beautiful, resonant and emotional voice, MC Anh Minh did a good job as MC, along with the organizing committee accompanying the athletes and contributing to the success of the first large-scale marathon held in Dong Ha City.

Talking about the opportunity to become a commentator, Mr. Minh said: “When I was a student, I participated in many cultural, artistic and sports activities of the school. Luckily, I inherited a little singing talent from my father and the ability to speak, I also regularly performed and MCed in school, class and neighborhood programs... In 2019, by chance at a street football tournament in Dong Ha City, I had the opportunity to meet and was advised by many people in the sports world at that time to try my hand at the job of commentating "street". After that, I was given the opportunity to commentate on a friendly match between Friendship FC and Minh Hieu FC at Duy Dan artificial football field. The first time I held the mic as a commentator, I received positive feedback from many players and audiences. That was also the motivation for me to pursue this career path until now".
In the early days of his career, Minh proactively sought out more knowledge about football and other sports that had commentary. He also learned how to use specialized words and terminology accurately and appropriately for each situation on the field. In particular, he always tried to find his own, harmonious commentary style to both inspire and not frustrate players and viewers.
In 2019, joy came to Anh Minh when he was assigned to comment on several matches of the Quang Tri Newspaper Football Tournament for the Truong Son Cup in 2019. The appearance of a new commentator breathed new life into the tournament, contributing to creating a vibrant atmosphere, attracting many audiences and creating a very positive media effect. Since his first "debut" with the amateur football world, the Quang Tri movement, the name commentator Anh Minh has become more widely known.
As a person with a gift for speaking and good communication, Anh Minh has created good impressions with many players and coaches and has been guided and encouraged by many seniors such as commentator Bach Long, commentator Sim Son... to continue his career as a "street" commentator.
Instead of sitting in a cabin with air conditioning like professional football commentators, the working environment of amateur commentators is right on the sidelines of the football field. Under the scorching sun or heavy rain, their seats are only protected by a small umbrella or a simple scaffolding above their heads. However, overcoming many obstacles, Mr. Minh is still determined to pursue his career, living with his passion for sports. What is commendable about this young man is his spirit of progress, eagerness to learn and always knowing how to accept suggestions, compliments and criticisms from the audience as well as those who have gone before.
Make a name
In the past 3 years, the name BLV Anh Minh has become one of the top choices of the organizing committee of mass sports tournaments, amateur football tournaments, and movements in towns, districts, wards, and communes across the province.

The passion of the young man born in 1994 is clearly shown in the times he comes to the audience, amateur football teams in villages, communes in and outside the province to comment. Many sports lovers commented that with a voice that is quite easy to listen to, has resonance, and is emotional, commentator Anh Minh brings to the already very exciting "village" football tournaments even more attractive.
In addition to football, he also comments on tennis and volleyball tournaments held in many localities in the province. To share images and livestream football, volleyball, tennis matches, etc., since 2019, Mr. Minh created the fanpage 74 Football, now renamed Top Football TV. Currently, the fanpage he manages has thousands of followers, regularly updating information and images about sports in and outside the province to the community.
This is also the media channel that brings the voice of commentator Anh Minh to many different provinces and cities, creating a unique feature for this Quang Tri boy.
He shared: “To improve myself, I learn a little every day, observe a little every time I go to work and pick up the good things from my predecessors. Before accepting to comment on any tournament, whether it is a national tournament or just a grassroots football tournament of a ward or commune, I always spend my time finding documents and referring to necessary information so that when I comment, I can make sure it is correct and complete. In addition, I regularly update the rules, grasp the tournament regulations from professional referees and often listen to many senior commentators to learn. To meet the need for images and clips for tournaments, I invest in taking photography, film editing, image making courses... to become a "multi-talented", creative commentator".
Anh Minh's career milestone as a commentator is that he has commented on several matches within the framework of the National First Division Football Tournament in the 2022-2023 season.
In addition, he participated in commenting and doing media work in many major football tournaments of amateur and grassroots football in Quang Tri province such as the Youth Football Tournament for Men and Women of Quang Tri Province's Agencies and Enterprises, S5 Champions-Yen Loan Cup Football Tournament; Duc Phuc Sport 7-a-side Football Tournament...
After moving to Da Nang City to work, commentator Anh Minh continued to do well in his role as a fire-starter in many large and small football, volleyball, and tennis tournaments in many districts, towns, and cities in Quang Binh Province, Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang City, and Quang Nam. Some of these tournaments include: SHB Football Tournament in the Central and Central Highlands Regions in 2023; 5-a-side women's football tournament in Thang Binh District, Quang Nam Province in 2024; Ba Don Town Tennis Tournament Opened for the Le Nam Cup in 2023; charity football tournaments held in Thua Thien Hue...
Most recently, this young commentator was also entrusted with the task of commentating on home matches of SHB Da Nang Youth Club in the 2024 National Second Division Football Tournament.
“Currently, I am practicing running and have had great experiences after completing the mission of spreading the passion at the Dong Ha City Marathon in 2024. In the future, I hope to have the opportunity to test myself in more professional environments, commenting on larger tournaments to gain more experience and skills in the profession. At the same time, I will also continue to strive to build the “Top football TV” channel to be more and more complete and high-quality to spread the beautiful image of the province's sports to friends across the country...”, Mr. Minh added.
