Sea in the heart of the city

Việt NamViệt Nam22/09/2023

At 6am, the sun rose, the dawn light “blew” down on the sea surface, blending with the rolling waves, creating an unusually beautiful sparkling light. In the distance, fishing boats near the shore diligently cast their nets in the hope of a day full of fish.

Along the shore are rows of people playing with the sea, mixed with tourists watching the sunrise, some people pose for souvenir photos...

That is the moment of a normal morning at Doi Duong beach, a beach in Hung Long ward in the heart of Phan Thiet city that any tourist who loves the sea when traveling must visit to know and admire its beauty. I have a friend Nhat Minh in Long Khanh (Dong Nai), almost once a month on the last Saturday of the month, he and his family go to Phan Thiet to swim in the sea. He said: I really like swimming in the sea, besides Binh Thuan, although it is close to Dong Nai province, Ba Ria - Vung Tau still has beaches, but I choose Phan Thiet. Because the sea near my province has a series of industrial parks built adjacent to it, while near the sea of Phan Thiet city there are no industrial parks, so the air is fresh and the sea water is cleaner. Since 2022, when I went to Phan Thiet to play and swim in the sea, I discovered that Phan Thiet's sea is good and has many beautiful beaches such as Doi Duong, Da Ong Dia, Bai Rang, Hon Rom... Before, it was a bit far, but now it only takes more than 1 hour on the highway from Long Khanh to Phan Thiet... For Mr. Nhat Minh, Phan Thiet has its own feature that tourists can both swim in the sea and watch fishermen pull their nets to catch seafood. When I'm tired, I often go to the sea to swim to relieve stress, but my wife and children are "seafood fans". When the net is pulled up, the mother and children "grab" and buy the seafood right away, then use a mini gas stove to boil it on the spot, how attractive it is. “Once, my family was sitting together eating seafood on the beach when a tourist family found it interesting so they asked to boil some for us and eat together. Coincidentally, the two families became close friends from then on, so now every time we go to Phan Thiet, we call each other out,” Minh confided.

On Saturday and Sunday, Phan Thiet beach from Doi Duong to Rang beach, Hon Rom is crowded with people. Many people who know how to swim wade a little further out, while those who can't swim only go down to waist-deep water, some people jog along the water, and some people like to take pictures of the sea. Occasionally, tourists can be seen sitting far away watching the sea with pensive expressions as if they are daydreaming or contemplating life. Out there, the sea is still tirelessly bringing waves to the shore and also caressing the bodies of thousands of tourists as if to wash away the calculations of everyday life so that tourists can have better health and spirit...

Binh Thuan has more than 192 km of coastline stretching from Tuy Phong district to La Gi and Ham Tan. The sea passes through Phan Thiet city, creating many bustling tourist areas from Mui Ne - Ham Tien to Tien Thanh. In La Gi, there is also Doi Duong beach, but Cam Binh beach is the interesting attraction for tourists. Still with rows of poplar trees to block the wind, the vast blue sea with crashing waves, Cam Binh beach is considered by many tourists as a "muse", because besides the wildness, there are still a few street vendors selling seafood to tourists. Somewhere in the middle of the city, there is the sea with the countryside scene interspersed, creating a magical picture in real life...

The sea in the heart of the city is not only a beautiful landscape but also has many deeper meanings, especially the sea not only brings economic benefits to many fishermen but also is the spearhead economy - tourism for the province. Come to the sea in the heart of the city in Binh Thuan to experience an interesting trip...
