In 2023 – a vibrant year for tourism – La Gi welcomed over 280,000 visitors for sightseeing and relaxation, an increase of more than 7.5% compared to the same period last year.

That's why beaches like Doi Duong (Binh Tan ward), Cam Binh (Tan Phuoc commune), Tam Tan bay (Tan Tien commune), and seaside resorts such as Coco Beach Camp, Sunset Beach, Aurora Resort, Hon Ba La Gi Resort Beach… always attract tourists from near and far to visit and swim. Especially on weekends or holidays like New Year's Day, Hung Vuong Ancestor Commemoration Day, April 30th, May 1st, or National Day (September 2nd)… these beaches and resorts become even more bustling.

Besides its natural advantages of "blue sea, white sand, and golden sunshine," La Gi town also boasts the national historical and cultural relic, Thầy Thím Shrine – a renowned spiritual and religious tourist destination throughout the country for a long time. In addition to the solemn ceremonies held at the Thầy Thím Shrine Cultural and Tourism Festival on the 15th day of the 9th lunar month every year, the town invests heavily in organizing the festival with many lively activities: a cake-making competition, a chess tournament, a bird-singing contest, and competitions showcasing the beauty of coastal life such as net weaving, carrying fish, and carrying baskets out to sea… These activities always attract and leave a positive impression on visitors from near and far due to their simplicity, rusticity, and friendliness. It is known that every year during the festival, La Gi town welcomes thousands of visitors from all over to offer incense and commemorate the merits of Thầy Thím.
