Provincial Party Secretary visits and congratulates Buddha's Birthday 2024

On the morning of May 20, on the occasion of the Buddha's Birthday in 2024 (Buddhist calendar 2568), the provincial delegation led by comrade Nguyen Hoai Anh - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council visited and congratulated dignitaries and officials of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province.

The delegation visited the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province and the Most Venerable Thich Minh Nhat - Member of the Central Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province; the Most Venerables, dignitaries and officials of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province.

*Most Venerable Thich Minh Nhat - Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province presented the symbol of 7 lotus flowers lit up on the Ca Ty River.*

At the place he visited, the Provincial Party Secretary informed about some highlights of the province's socio-economic situation in the first 4 months of 2024. In particular, tourism, industrial production, and electricity have developed quite well; cultural activities and social security in the area have received attention. In particular, in the fields of education and health, the Provincial People's Council has issued Resolutions such as spending more than 215 billion VND from the state budget to support tuition fees for students in the 2023-2024 school year; Resolution on regulations on the level of support for health insurance contributions for ethnic minorities in the province... Along with that, the political security situation in the area has been maintained stable.

The Provincial Party Secretary acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of the provincial Buddhism in the cause of national construction and defense and socio-economic development of the province in the past time. At the same time, he hoped that the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of the province would continue to build the great national unity bloc, religious unity, carry out well the emulation movements at the grassroots level, volunteer activities... contributing to helping the provincial economy continue to develop and take care of the people's lives better and better.

Most Venerable Thich Minh Nhat - Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province thanked the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee for their attention and facilitation of religious activities of monks, nuns, and Buddhists in the past time. In the coming time, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province will continue to encourage monks, nuns, and Buddhists to promote the tradition of patriotism, strictly comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws, and actively respond to local campaigns and emulation movements, contributing to building an increasingly developed and beautiful homeland.
