According to the report of the Chu Town Party Committee, immediately after its establishment, the Standing Committee, the Standing Committee, and the Town Party Committee Executive Committee met and unanimously issued leadership and direction documents to promptly implement urgent tasks, ensuring the timely implementation of the apparatus from January 1, meeting practical requirements. At the same time, the renovation, repair, and arrangement of the office building were accelerated, and the construction volume has so far reached an estimated 90%. Regarding the preparation of Tet for people with meritorious services and poor households in the area, Luc Ngan district has planned a budget for giving gifts and emergency relief to the beneficiaries with more than 3,000 gifts, worth more than 1.8 billion VND from the mobilized sources of the district Fatherland Front Committee and organizations, businesses and localities; ensuring that 100% of poor households in the area receive Tet gifts before January 19, all people can celebrate Tet happily and warmly.

Speaking here, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Gau acknowledged and commended the efforts of Chu town and Luc Ngan district in the past time to overcome difficulties, promptly prepare conditions in terms of facilities, arrange staff, civil servants and public employees to put the government apparatus into operation in accordance with regulations.
In the coming time, he hopes that Chu town and Luc Ngan district will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, democracy and unity from the collective leadership to the entire Party Committee, creating high consensus among the people to focus on leading and directing the successful implementation of socio-economic development goals and tasks; ensuring national defense and security, building a strong Party and political system; well preparing for the organization of local Party congresses. At the same time, focusing on taking care of Tet for the poor and policy beneficiaries; implementing measures to ensure safety for people to enjoy spring and celebrate Tet, especially ensuring security and order, traffic safety, food hygiene and safety, fire and explosion prevention and control.

At the places he visited, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Gau kindly asked about the health, life and preparation for Tet of the families of war invalids. He said that the Party, State and authorities at all levels in the province always pay special attention to and carry out well the work of "Repaying gratitude", taking care of policy beneficiaries and people with meritorious services, especially during Tet, thereby demonstrating the fine tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source" of the nation.
He hoped that the wounded soldiers would uphold the good qualities of “Uncle Ho’s soldiers”, constantly overcome difficulties, strive to become a shining example for their children and the younger generation to follow. He suggested that local authorities continue to pay more attention and care to those with meritorious services in the area. On the occasion of the upcoming New Year of the Snake, he wished the wounded soldiers and their families good health and happiness.
At the headquarters of the People's Committee of Tan Lap commune, Luc Ngan district, after listening to the report on the socio-economic development of the commune, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Gau expressed his excitement and congratulated the results achieved by the locality during the year, thereby contributing to the overall development of the province.
He emphasized that caring for the poor and those in difficult circumstances is a humane policy of our Party and State and a fine tradition of the nation, and is also the responsibility of Party committees, authorities and the whole society. Over the years, Bac Giang province has always paid attention to and cared for poor households and policy households so that everyone and every family can enjoy spring and celebrate Tet.
The Provincial Party Committee set a goal that on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of At Ty, all poor households, policy families, and meritorious people will receive Tet gifts. To achieve that goal, Party committees, authorities, and the Fatherland Front at all levels have actively mobilized, socialized, and combined with local budgets at all levels to take care of the people. Although the gifts are not large in material value, they represent the wholeheartedness, care, concern, sharing, and encouragement of the whole society.
