Militia and Self-Defense Forces soldiers receive gifts on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the force's tradition.

(BL-TH) On the afternoon of March 28, the Party Committee - Military Command of Bac Lieu City held a meeting to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Militia and Self-Defense Force (DQTV) (March 28, 1935 - March 28, 2025).

In Bac Lieu City, in recent years, the city's militia force has been built according to the motto "Strong, widespread". From 2015 to present, the city's militia force has participated in training and coaching with 100% of its troops, correctly and fully implementing the content and program, close to the requirements of the tasks of each subject, the results of the live ammunition test were good and excellent at 62.73%. The militia force coordinated with patrol forces according to Decree 03 and 02 of the Government in over 80,000 patrols, participating in 10 combat drills in the defense area. At the same time, participating in the Military-Civilian Tet Program, field marches, combined training and mass mobilization work... and clearing bushes, cleaning the environment on 1,000km long roads; building dykes to prevent flooding and prevent salinity with a length of 35km, contributing nearly 10,000 working days; Participated in donating 500 units of blood and many other meaningful activities.

On this occasion, the leaders of the City Party Committee and the Military Command of Bac Lieu City presented gifts to 50 outstanding militia and self-defense officers and soldiers.
