On March 28 and 29, the Party Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial Media Center solemnly held the 3rd Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term. This is one of three congresses of the Provincial Party Committee. During the past term, the Party Committee of Quang Ninh Media Center has always received the attention, leadership and close direction of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, and superior Party Committees; continued to promote the spirit of solidarity and unity in the leadership, direction and operation of the Party Committee and the Center's leaders; the determination and solidarity of all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers to focus on excellently completing all assigned tasks. The highlight is the leadership in building the Quang Ninh Media Center into a "multimedia convergence newsroom", creating strong changes in the methods of operation, management, administration and maximum application of technology in the process of content production and distribution, optimizing the use of resources. The number of self-produced news articles increased by more than 30% compared to before the merger; 70% of multimedia press works on new media platforms.

Information and propaganda work on the Center's infrastructure has many innovations and clear breakthroughs, effectively performing the functions and tasks of a press agency, being the voice of the Party Committee, the government and the people of all ethnic groups in Quang Ninh province. Over the past 5 years, the Provincial Media Center has carried out more than 30 major media campaigns with over 40,000 works; built many media products suitable to the needs of the public such as the photo book "Uncle Ho with Quang Ninh"; "Quang Ninh converges and spreads"; "Quang Ninh shines with Seagames 31", the 13-episode documentary "Quang Ninh television chronicles" and the feature film "Rising Dawn"...

The Center has many high-quality press works that have won high prizes at national press awards such as the National Press Award, the Golden Hammer and Sickle Award, the Dien Hong Award and the National Radio and Television Festival. In addition to maintaining good relationships with central press agencies, the Quang Ninh Provincial Media Center is one of the few local press units that have a strong media cooperation relationship with international press agencies - creating a basis for implementing human resource training, accessing modern journalism methods and strengthening external communications. Taking advantage of the 4th industrial revolution, the Center has focused on maximizing the efficiency of the technical equipment system and facilities to meet the operational requirements of a multimedia press agency; building a digital newsroom to ensure information safety and security.

In the work of Party building, the Central Party Committee has led and directed the implementation of political and ideological work and mass mobilization work; continued to consolidate and reorganize the Party organization, improve the capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization and the quality of Party members; improved the quality and effectiveness of Party inspection, supervision and discipline work. The rate of newly admitted Party members reached over 16% compared to the number of Party members at the beginning of the term.

At the Congress, many delegates spoke and discussed to clarify the results and achievements, as well as the lessons learned in performing tasks in the 2020 - 2025 term. From there, they agreed on the key tasks set for the 2025 - 2030 term, such as: Continuing to build a clean and strong Party Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial Media Center; promoting the spirit of solidarity, democracy, and discipline; building the Center into a modern, prestigious, unique, and influential multimedia press complex; effectively promoting traditional press platforms, promoting the development of digital press associated with a streamlined organization, effective and efficient operations.

Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Hoang Quang Hai, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies, emphasized: As a new model, unprecedented, especially in the period of 2020 - 2025, although facing many difficulties, especially in the early stages of the term, with the spirit of solidarity, discipline, determination to overcome all difficulties, the Party Committee of the Provincial Media Center has actively promoted its role and responsibility, improved the leadership capacity, fighting strength of the Party Committee as well as the role of the leader in leadership, direction, and successfully completed the Party building work as well as the assigned political tasks. The team of cadres, party members, civil servants, and employees of the Provincial Media Center have made important contributions to the comprehensive development of Quang Ninh province in the past time; truly affirming its role as the mouthpiece of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, the voice of the people of all ethnic groups in Quang Ninh province, has oriented, created consensus, and good public opinion in society, thereby spreading positive aspects among cadres, party members and people.

To successfully implement the Resolution of the Congress for the next term, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Committee requested: Immediately after the Congress, the Party Committee of the Center urgently completes the Action Program to implement the Resolution of the Party Congress; develops and promulgates regulations and rules; develops a Work Program and a program for inspection and supervision of the entire term. Along with that, focus on and be determined to achieve high results in the two breakthroughs identified by the Congress, which are focusing on accelerating the digital transformation of journalism; enhancing new technologies in journalism and communication activities and innovating in thinking, production methods, and creating press products bearing the identity and brand of the Quang Ninh Provincial Media Center; continuing to operate well the convergent newsroom model, affirming the role and position, deserving to be the first provincial-level media center in the country.

Promoting the spirit of concentration and democracy, the Congress elected the 3rd Executive Committee of the Provincial Media Center Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, consisting of 15 comrades; directly elected the Party Secretary at the Congress. Comrade Nguyen The Lam, Director of the Provincial Media Center, was elected Party Secretary. Along with that, 20 official delegates were elected to attend the Congress of Party Delegates of Provincial Party Agencies, term 2025 - 2030.
