On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day February 27 (1955 - 2025), this afternoon February 26, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Long Hai; Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee Phan Van Phung; Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Chien Thang; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam visited the staff, doctors and nurses of Quang Tri Provincial General Hospital.

At the meeting, Director of Provincial General Hospital Phan Xuan Nam briefly reported on the hospital's recent performance.
Accordingly, Quang Tri General Hospital has a total area of 21 hectares with a scale of 1,170 beds and 36 departments and functional rooms; nearly 850 doctors, medical staff, workers and many modern medical machines and equipment for diagnosis and treatment. The number of outpatients is 900 - 1,200 patients/day; inpatients is 1,100 - 1,200 patients/day.
Medical examination and treatment have made remarkable progress, mastering many new, modern and specialized techniques.
In addition, the hospital also regularly trains and transfers techniques to lower levels, contributing to improving the quality of primary health care.
People's satisfaction with the hospital is increasing, the rate of compliments as well as the patient satisfaction rate through the Mscore scoring system are both over 90%, reflecting the hospital's trust and reputation in providing health care services to the people.

In his congratulatory speech to the staff, doctors and nurses of Quang Tri General Hospital, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Long Hai acknowledged and highly appreciated the important progress of the hospital in recent times. The hospital's facilities are on par with hospitals in the region with many modern medical machines and equipment, meeting the increasing requirements of diagnosis and treatment.
Medical examination and treatment have made many advances, mastering many new, modern, specialized techniques that have been researched and implemented in both internal, external and paraclinical systems. The hospital's staff, doctors and nurses are increasingly meeting the requirements of their tasks. Many doctors and nurses have had topics and initiatives that have been applied to medical examination and treatment practices.
The Provincial Party Secretary hopes that in the coming time, the Provincial General Hospital will strive to overcome all difficulties and continuously improve the quality of medical examination and treatment. At the same time, it will successfully complete the tasks of admission, emergency and treatment. Further promote the research, application and development of new techniques and specialized techniques; participate in training human resources and transfer techniques to the lower-level hospital system.
Be proactive and flexible in organizing procurement, bidding and organizing solutions to have enough medicine and medical equipment for medical examination and treatment activities. Continue to promote administrative reform, apply information technology, and digital transformation in all medical examination and treatment activities.
