The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee focused on reviewing the implementation of socio-economic development tasks in 2024 and the draft Socio-economic Development Plan of Tuyen Quang province in 2025. Based on the assessment of the results achieved in 2024, the province determined the general goal in 2025 to continue to effectively exploit potentials and advantages, link with provinces in the Northern midland and mountainous region and provinces and cities nationwide; promote innovation, promote economic growth, improve productivity, quality, efficiency and competitiveness of economic sectors; develop science and technology; digital transformation, green transformation, and develop a circular economy.

At the same time, mobilize and effectively use resources; focus on improving the quality of human resources; develop infrastructure, especially transport infrastructure. Strictly manage and effectively use land and resources, proactively prevent and combat natural disasters, and respond to climate change. Synchronously develop the economy with the development of cultural and social fields, protect the environment, ensure social security and welfare, and improve the material and spiritual life of the people.

In 2025, Tuyen Quang province plans to set 22 main targets, including striving for the total product in the province to reach over 9%; GRDP per capita to reach 65.76 million VND/year; industrial production value to increase by 16.7% compared to 2024; state budget revenue to reach over 5 trillion VND; the poverty rate reduction according to multidimensional standards to be from 2.8% or more...

Regarding the tasks of 2025, delegates focused on the tasks of state budget collection, new rural construction; removing obstacles and difficulties in site clearance when the state recovers land to implement projects; allocating, leasing land, changing land use purposes, determining land prices to calculate land allocation and leasing fees for socio-economic development projects; continuing to pay attention to and attract investment in industrial production projects, prioritizing the development of products based on new technology, added value, especially processing products for export, processing and consuming products according to the value chain.

At the same time, discuss solutions and develop plans to continue to effectively use resources to invest in traffic infrastructure; increase investment and upgrade infrastructure and medical equipment; review and rearrange schools, school locations, and classrooms for preschool and general education in the province, mobilize resources to build a system of schools and classrooms towards meeting national standards...

He emphasized that despite a year with many difficulties, the flexible and proactive direction of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee and the efforts of the entire political system, in 2024 the province achieved many important results in all fields.

Based on the opinions of the delegates, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ha Thi Nga requested the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to accept and supplement the report. The results of 2024 are an important driving force for Tuyen Quang province to continue implementing the socio-economic development tasks of 2025, a year of special significance, the final year of implementing the resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested the Provincial People's Committee to review the targets for 2025 in line with the actual situation of the province and each sector with the highest determination to complete and exceed the set targets.

The Provincial Party Secretary also proposed to continue tightening discipline and public service order; enhance proactive coordination between sectors and localities; promote the role of elected bodies and the Fatherland Front in supervising and creating consensus among all classes of people to carry out socio-economic development tasks, especially implementing key projects.

The meeting of the Provincial Party Standing Committee also gave opinions on the report on the settlement of state budget revenue and local budget expenditure in 2023; the estimate of state budget revenue and local budget expenditure in 2025; the draft resolution of the Provincial People's Council stipulating the criteria for deciding on bidding and selecting contractors to implement investment projects using land in the province and other important contents.
