On the afternoon of April 2, Comrade Do Trong Hung, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council inspected and encouraged cadres and workers participating in the construction of Dong Thang intersection in Trieu Son district and Thieu Giang intersection in Thieu Hoa district. Also participating were leaders of a number of relevant departments and branches.

Inspecting the Dong Thang and Thieu Giang intersections, Provincial Party Secretary Do Trong Hung stated: The North-South Expressway is a national key project passing through Thanh Hoa with a length of 98.9 km. There are 7 intersections connecting to the North-South Expressway in the province.

After checking the construction progress at the two intersections, the Provincial Party Secretary highly appreciated the efforts of the project management board, contractors, and the Party committees, authorities, and the consensus of the people of Trieu Son and Thieu Hoa districts in overcoming many difficulties to ensure and exceed the set schedule. When the project is completed and put into use, it will create a new development space for the two districts and neighboring areas.

Regarding the tasks in the coming time, the Provincial Party Secretary requested the project management board and contractors to strive to complete the project and put it into use and open to traffic on April 15, 2024. Along with ensuring progress, the units need to pay attention to the quality, technique, and aesthetics of the project, creating a new development space landscape, creating a traffic space connecting the region, developing the urban economy, and improving people's lives. At the same time, carry out the restoration of local civil, economic and social works.

Besides, the Party Committees and authorities of Trieu Son and Thieu Hoa districts need to pay attention to maintaining security and order; and propagate to people to properly comply with the Party's policies and the State's laws.
