The reason is that this hospital encountered difficulties in bidding, leading to a lack of chemicals and medical supplies for screening and preparing blood such as blood bags, platelet collection kits, chemicals for screening blood-borne diseases, etc.

Can Tho Hematology and Blood Transfusion Hospital regularly supplies 12,000-15,000 units of blood per month to 74 hospitals and medical facilities in 11 provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta. Currently, due to difficulties in blood supply, this hospital can only provide blood for emergency cases, while other cases will have to wait.
