The medical team quickly decided to perform a coronary angiogram to determine the extent of the damage. The results showed that the patient's left anterior descending coronary artery (LAD) was 99% narrowed. Determining that this was the cause of the critical condition, the doctors immediately performed a balloon angioplasty procedure and placed a drug-coated stent to reopen the blood vessel and ensure blood flow to the heart.

After the intervention, the patient's hemodynamic status was stable. The patient is currently being closely monitored in the Cardiology Department with vital signs within safe limits.

Acute myocardial infarction is a dangerous disease, especially in the elderly due to the high risk of complications. This success once again affirms the high professional capacity of the hospital's medical team in handling difficult cases and providing timely emergency care, bringing life to patients at a very old age.

Doctors recommend that if you or a loved one experiences symptoms of suspected myocardial infarction such as severe chest pain, shortness of breath, or cold sweats, call an ambulance immediately for timely treatment. Time is the most important factor in saving the patient's life!
